Shade of Tint

We took our Tesla in for tint all around and a full detail.

I think they did a good job at the detailing, albeit missing some dirty spots on the headliner. However, the tinting was just okay. We paid for the ceramic tint and the front windshield now shows doubles when looking at lights. There are also some minor scratches on the tint and trapped dust, minor, but they are there. Turn around for all the service were fairly quick.

Pricing wise was decent, but I'm starting to wonder if they put lower quality tint on the windshield causing the double vision, since they are all supposed to be the same brand and quality, but the front is the only glass that's doing that now.

UPDATE: the business owner Wilson reached out upon seeing my review and offered to replace the ting on the windshield without charge under warranty. I really appreciate businesses that try to make things right. Even though the problem persisted after the replacement, meaning it's likely problems with the glass itself, I am updating the review to a 5-star based on the quality of the service the business provides.

Shade of Tint and Wilson was responsive, honest, offered the best pricing, and a quality product with lifetime warranty. Easily booked the next available appointment for my schedule. The team got it all done within two hours. Wilson made sure that I was happy and gave me great customer service. It looks awesome in day time and night time! Vroom vroom and thanks guys!

Got ceramic tint all around my car and it came out nice. Though one I did not like was they left water spots on all my doors which was kind of annoying since the car was brand new. Would recommend but be ready to clean your doors after.

I had been contemplating getting the windows of my 2022 Tesla Model 3 for a while, and was getting quotes on a Friday morning. Wilson was very responsive and gave me the best quote of everyone I contacted for ceramic tinting, and even offered to get me in that afternoon! He was very patient as I decided on the levels of tint when I got to the shop, and after getting the car back, I have to say I couldn't have asked for a better job done on the windows. The side windows were done perfectly and blocks out heat and visibility during long drives, and while the rear window and windshields had some bubbles initially, these fully resolved within the next 2 days.
I waited about 5 days before washing my car, and I really could appreciate the great job he did on my tint when the car was clean. Highly recommend this place for any Tesla Model 3 owners!

They damaged my car and then denied it. The whole situation was uncalled for. Please document the condition of your car before letting these guys touch it. Or find another honest business.

I talked directly to the owner and they never admitted to ruining my GPS system/screen that was functioning perfectly fine when I left them the keys. He said he would help me find a solution to ensure I was happy not because they clearly damaged my car.

Luckily, I still have bumper to bumper warranty on my truck. They took it to the dealer and I had to go through that process. The dealer replaced the unit because of obvious water damage. Unfortunately, the new unit is giving my car problems. All of this because I took it into this dishonest business that I found on Group On. If you are reading this and came here because of that deal you might leave with more problems than what it is worth.

Please heed my warning. THIS BUSINESS ISN'T HONEST from my experience. I work hard for my money and I love my truck. And now I'm in this headache/mess because these guys didn't take the steps to ensure my car was in good hands.

I asked the owner to bring his workers out so we could question them. Of course he said no. No integrity, no honesty, no accountability- that should be the name of this business. After all of this you would think they would give me my money back. I mentioned that. They just looked at me like I was crazy. Again?! Why conduct business if this is how you plan on doing it?

You are better off letting those homeless guys in downtown LA detail your car with a used piece of news paper and toilet water. I bet these guys are more honest then these folks.
