Hi. I'm Shaun Ashley, I am a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Missouri and the State of Kansas. I am a graduate of Truman High School in Independence. I have lived in the Kansas City metropolitan area my entire life. I have a tremendous passion for helping my clients reach their Real Estate goals whether it be selling a home or finding one to purchase. I am an Entrepreneur, Husband and father of two. When I am not working I enjoy playing, watching and coaching sports. Over the past year I have taken tremendous pride in improving my profession. In Feb 2019 I got my Broker's license in the State of Missouri and then in Sept 2019 in the State of Kansas. I have also taken class to get my ABR Designation which stands for Accredited Buyer's Representative and a class to get my SRS Designation which stands for Sellers Representative Specialist. We did a cross-county road trip in 2021 and fell in love with Kansas City. We looked into other markets but couldn't find a team that fit or was willing to work with out-of-state investors. We did not start with Kansas City but I'm so glad we tabled back to it! A buddy of mine had successes with Shaun and recommended him to us.
Shaun was very thorough with his showings and was patient with us each time he had to FaceTime a place. Shaun was always upfront about a place and if a place did not fit our criteria, he wouldn't even waste our time. He helped us understand the different neighborhoods and taught us a few things from downspouts, to grading, roofs, some things we needed to look out for with buying in the KC area, etc. (I feel like there's a lot of people with realtor licenses just trying to sell houses but don't know jack!)
I'm a budding investor and Shaun sets the bar for what I think an agent should be. High praises to this man! He's great and we recommend him if you're looking in the Kansas City area! He's the kind of realtor who's not trying to just sell you a house. He's the kind of guy who looks out for you and what is in the best interest of the client! We were settling on a contract for the duplex we were interested in and he advocated for another rebuttal that helped the price go down a little more!
