To say that Jeff at shimmering edge is a master is an understatement. He is magic. If you thought your knives got sharp at the farmers market, wait until Jeff gets his paws on them!!! He has sharpened at least 100 for me ( I'm a pro chef).... I will likely sharpen 100 more

Jeff provided great customer service. He provides value to his services. He sharpened about 15 knives and oiled the handles. My knives are about 50 years old and had never been sharpened. I tied the chefs knife and it was so wonderful like slicing easily in cutting up chicken breast. I will certainly return to Shimmering Edge when my knives need resharpening.

I've never had my high carbon German steel knives professionally sharpened, but WOW what a difference. Thank you for the wonderful service and fast turn around.

So easy to work with! I dropped my knives off using the covid protocols and they were done the same day. These were used knives I bought on eBay with some chips and very dull, and now they are like new. Very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend the Shimmering Edge for all your good knives.

Jeff is wonderful! Not only fixed a knife that was in bad shape, but did it on the day before Thanksgiving and gave us a tutorial in how to care for and maintain our knives. Looking forward to using Jeff for garden tools.

It's not often that you find people who are passionate and expert at what they do, and also have a full grasp of how much value customer service has. Jeff is one of those people. I can not recommend his services enough. He came to my home, took time to talk with me about each of my cutting tools (which included Spyderco, Laguiole and Opinel pocket knives; Shun, Global and Wusthof kitchen knives, as well as a hatchet), and then left me with two loaner knives to get me through the week it took for him to deliver my now amazingly sharp knives back to me. If you want the best from your investment in your knives, do yourself a favor and get in touch with Jeff.
