Shine Nail Bar & Lounge

Made an appointment and was seen 20 minutes late. Ordered the more expensive manicure and pedicure for the extended massages. If you list how long (15 minutes) the massage is supposed to be make sure you do it!! I got a 5 minute massage on my feet and 3 minute massage on my hands/arms. The forgot the hot stone massage on my arms and paraffin on my feet. I explained this when paying and the lady did give me the price of the lower manicure/pedicure so that's good. The nail tech walked up and apologized saying it was his first day and first manicure. What????
She also said the man doing my pedicure was new. Oh, he went on his phone several times while doing my pedicure to respond to text messages. I don't recommend this nail salon. It's pretty and the owner seemed sweet but with all the competition in the area they really need to up their service.

Will not be going back here. They really messed up my nails this last time. Top coat looked horrible and then they put a gel top coat over gen nails and it started peeling within 2 days.

Now I am going to have to find another place to fix the mess they created.

This was a nice find. I don't get my nails done too often as I don't really have long nails but I was super surprised at how they were able to take my little short nails from nothing and make them look presentable again. The ambiance is good, they offer drinks, they have a lot of color options. I would recommend this salon.

Service was moderate and was very expensive although my technician was good. I was told that gel x would be really good and would stay easily for 4-5 weeks and they charged me $85 but I am afraid that i will loose my pinky nails within a day or two now as these are nothing but press on nails . I wouldn't recommend Shine to my family and friends

I haven't been to a salon in a long time, but as a anxiety nail biter I decided to get Gel X to help my nails grow out and prevent biting. This is one of the only salons in the area that offer Gel X. The salon itself is very clean and pretty. The manager was very friendly and greeted me. My nail tech was also very friendly and helped me pick the color I wanted. My only complaint is that my mail ended up being angled weird and I didn't notice until I got home but I wish the tech would've noticed. Otherwise, it was a good experience and I'll go back!

DO NOT GO THERE! They were 30 min late to start my pedi and 1 HOUR LATE to start my mani. My appointment was 3 HOURS LONG for a dip mani and regular pedi.
As I was waiting for my service and soaking my feet in the tub, the manager/front desk Tram, splashed me with so much water as she was filling up the tub, that even my underwear got soaked. My first instinct was to leave. But I needed this service badly as I don't have a lot of free time so she gave me towels and a blanket and I decided to stay, thinking that they will make it up to me somehow in the end.

3 hours later at checkout, I was expected to pay the bill in full. $135. I asked the manager/front desk woman, Tram (the one who got me soaked) if she can give me a discount because it was a very unpleasant experience all together. She said that getting me soaked in water was an accident. And the double booking was an accident too. (That's why my dip manicure started at 12 instead of 11). And she can give me $5 OFF!?!?!?!

I said I didn't think that was enough, considering that I was standing in front of her with my underwear completely soaked still. So she said "SO WHAT DO YOU EXPECT 50% OFF"? I said "yes, that would be nice".
She said "No m'am".

So it seems like my entire appointment today was an accident. I left very disappointed. They are very disorganized and no common sense. If I was an employer in the nail industry Tram would not be my employee.
She is completely lacking customer service skills. Besides brining me some towels and a blanket to warp myself into, she just said it was an accident.

If she owns the place she does not deserve my business. Nor my friends and neighbors' business, who all live in the neighborhood. If she is an employee she definitely needs to be spoken to, because for "accidents" like today first of all she needs to learn to be more apologetic and less stuck up, and secondly the service should be free, not event 50% off.

What a disappointment.

Pretty disappointed with my mani/pedi. Asked multiple times for a specific color, which for some reason they couldn't find. Finally I thought I picked one they actually had. Turns out they gave me one that (they) thought was close. Not at all what I wanted. Quality of the manicure was pretty poor. Would not return.

Shine Nail Salon just opened up 3 days ago near my home and I am so excited to get my nails done today. My daughter and I enjoyed a delightful daughter date day with our gentle and professional nail techs. We both received pedicure treatments.
The owner was very kind and welcoming, she provided sodas and cookies and the ambience was very relaxing and pretty all around!
Bonus: There was a beautiful flower wall for photo op...that complimented the waiting lounge area! Shine Nail is worth the visit..conveniently located next to Chase Bank in the Aldi shopping area on Custer and Stacy Rd! Check it out! They are running a grand opening promo 10% off now!

Love this salon. Very clean and the staff is very friendly. Ann and Hannah are such a joy to talk to. 5 stars :)

I loved my experience here! I wasn't sure which salon to choose but I made the right choice! The owner Ann was so friendly and helpful. I told her I needed a gel pedicure and my nails to be done super nice for my holiday event. They didn't disappoint! My nails and pedicure were done by Hanna. She shaped them so perfectly smooth with absolutely no bumpy spots either! Super clean and everyone was so friendly. They also have the cutest drink bar. I left there feeling Gorgeous! . I will be back for sure!!
