Siam Thai Restaurant

Siam has been a favorite for years. The location is perfect to meet a friend, window shop then enjoy a light but hardy lunch.
The food is fresh, and service is quick- very attentive staff and the menu has many sharable options.
Order a pot of jasmine tea to easy any anxiety.

The food was decent. I enjoyed the chili ginger sauce but the chicken was way too rough and hard to chew. My partner had fried rice with steak but we're not use to steak looking so lightskinned. For an item with such high reviews, I expected for it to be packed with flavor... it was blan. We added the sauce from my dish to his and it made a huge difference.

The customer service was good and it's a cute spot in the downtown Decatur area. I read good things about this spot so I would actually give it another try and order different dishes. They also have really good strong drinks. We had the lychee martini & old fashion. Next time I'll try the Thai tea.

Stopped in today as we were looking for lunch. We were greeted promptly and seated. They bought us the menus and waters.

Nice environment, staff is friendly.

We ordered steamed chicken dumplings with a chili sauce. I asked the waiter what he preferred between the Drunken Noodles or Pad See Ew Noodles, he recommended the Drunken Noodles.

My friend ordered the house soup and loved it.

The Chicken dumplings with there sauce was tasty. My drunken noodles were good but definitely sweet, overly sweet. A lot of chicken. Even though it was sweet still tasted good.

We we're seated, nobody came to our table to offer us anything to drink after waiting for at least 20 mins!! We left!! It's unfortunate because they lost a patron who loves Thai food

The food was so good! The service is amicable and fast. We had reservations for 7 pm but were late due to hardship of finding parking. Nevertheless the sweet staff member was so kind and was able to accommodate us. My husband loves Thai food. We enjoyed the ambiance which was clearly incredibly beautiful. Everyone seemed happy and delighted to be there. I enjoyed people watching as little as I could. We didn't feel rushed, there were couples who were there before we got there and were still there after we left. I was pleasantly surprised by this gem of a restaurant and yummy food. Thank you!!

I got a to go order and ate it outside the restaurant in the park area. The food comes out quick and hot & their over the phone service was great. It was a great quick grab and go lunch.

Red Curry w/ Rice: 8/10
This stuff is so so good. It has the perfect level of spice & flavor without being overwhelming. I enjoy that they separate the rice from the curry instead of putting it together and letting the rice get soggy. After eating this, it immediately makes me want more.

Thai Tea: 4.5/10
This was disappointing :( It was good the first time I had it, but this go around it was incredibly sweet. It was undrinkable for me, which was sad. The thai flavor was good & strong, and it would have been a refreshing drink for the day but the sugar level was insane.

Seriously. The best crispy duck I have ever had! I was skeptical because the menu had a few pics of the food, usually a bad sign. Food was amazing. Service was impeccable. This little joint is a "go to" if you are in Decatur.

Y'all, I was craving Thai food after working out (is that weird?!). Right after leaving the fitness center, I walked around the Decatur Square and lo and behold, I stumbled across Siam Thai Restaurant. The prices were affordable, the food looked delicious, and the reviews were decent, so I walked in and dined solo.

The restaurant was clean, and I absolutely loved the minimalist interior decor. Staff was great, too! I was immediately seated when I walked in, and my order - Basil Fried Rice with Chicken - was delivered in less than 20 minutes. I kid you not, this was by far one of the best Basil Fried Rice entrees I've had in Atlanta! It was so rich in flavor and for $14, the entree was huge. I plan to dine here again.

Though I've never been to Siam Thai, I have ordered from them for a couple of years. I use Chow Now from the restaurant's website, rather than a delivery app, as suggested by the restaurant, to save them a little dough. I am particularly fond of the Drunken Noodles, Curry Rice and 3 Flavors Tofu. The other night I mistakenly ordered pickup, rather than delivery. I live quite far and so called and they cancelled my order and I set it up again through Chow Now. Somehow, it still arrived hot. This is most definitely one of the best Thai spots in the Atlanta area.

I've ordered take out from Siam a few times, but haven't had the opportunity to dine-in yet! I did. pick up my food yesterday and saw the interior - very beautiful! The lady who gave me my order was super kind and had such a bright smile!

Their food is superb. My go to is the Curry Fried Rice with chicken (hot level 2). It's a perfect combination of spicy and sweet since they put pineapple chunks in there! I absolutely love it.

We've also ordered the Red Curry and Drunken Noodles. Both were great.

Definitely recommend this restaurant for tasty & fresh Thai!
