Simon was instrumental in changing our lives. We found a wonderful home with minimal stress during a challenging time in the market. He was friendly and positive from our first call, and throughout the entire process, made us believe a new home was possible. He genuinely listened to us, answered every question we had and opened our eyes to all possibilities. He set up a webpage where we could collaborate as a a team and clearly had our best interests in mind.

We ended up buying a home different from what we planned in an area we didn't initially have in mind. It was all our decision, but Simon helped broaden our horizons. He made it clear his priority was our happiness and his patience and willingness to continue showing us homes for the rest of the year was indicative of this. He is beyond knowledgeable and provides helpful observations that are not otherwise thought of. The business transaction was seamless. Simon developed a good relationship with the sellers' realtor, drew up a contract with multiple contingencies to protect us and was on site for all inspections. He stayed in constant contact, slowly walked us through the escrow process and made sure we were fully aware of everything. The best part is knowing we can contact him for anything, even after the purchase.

All realtors are the same? Lots of fake fancy talk and selfishness? err wrong, not this realtor. Simon is a no nonsense straight shooter that works hard and gets you results. Simon helped my wife and I navigate a extremely tough buyers market which included numerous showings and offers. Once the perfect house came along, Simon was able to help us win an offer on a house in San Ramon beating out 13 other offers. We were so appreciative that we chose the right realtor and felt like it was all meant to be. Simon helped us purchase our home in Danville. The housing market had gone crazy because of COVID, prices were rising, and the market was unpredictable. Open houses weren't happening, and Simon had to personally show us about a dozen different houses we wanted to see. Not one complaint from him, he was always early to the showings, and kept us realistic in our expectations with the houses we saw and bid on. He responded quickly to messages, and was always available by phone for consults. Utilizing his former experience as a building inspector, he gave us valuable opinions whenever we viewed a home. He helped us get the scoop on houses we liked, and when it was time to bid on a home, helped us navigate all the nuances of real estate paperwork and procedure.
He's got a good sense of humor in that he tolerated ours. We'd definitely go back to Simon if we ever decided to buy another house.

My husband and I were looking to purchase a home in the San Francisco Bay Area using a VA loan-- no small feat! We came across Realtor, Simon Watson, on YELP and contacted him after reading his great reviews. We couldn't be more thankful for Simon's diligence, professionalism, and expertise, not only pertaining to Veteran's loans (and the VA Condo approval list), but also to the entire home buying process. As first time home purchasers, we didn't know what to expect, but from the first telephone conversation that we had with Simon, he took an ample amount of time to explain and prepare us for what would be an exciting, albeit stressful, process.

After visiting a few condos in Oakland, Simon helped us submit our first offer-- which was accepted! A few days later, however, the Bay Area "Shelter in Place" order was implemented and my husband and I became increasingly nervous about closing. Simon was there for us, every step of the way-- he was ALWAYS available by phone, text and email-- and not only kept the process moving, but he also kept us calm.

He effectively communicated with our lender, the listing agent, home inspectors, electricians, and even city officials, on our behalf. And, although the lockdown made appraisal and even home inspection timelines unpredictable, with Simon's help and guidance, we were still able to close on our condo in less than 40 days.

It is difficult to articulate how much Simon did for us during such a short period of time, in the midst of a pandemic. But we can confidently say that, throughout the process, Simon had our best interests in mind and constantly puts his client's needs first.

A realtor will soon come to know intricate details of your life including your values, your finances, and the cleanliness of your home. This is information that even some of my closest friends will never know. With that being said, Simon Watson has become a person I can genuinely trust. Simon has helped my sister and I with six different transactions and has become an extended part of our family. Given how overprotective and involved our parents are, it is a true feat to say they approve of Simon and value his input.

I specifically found Simon because I scoured Yelp for realtors who were familiar with VA loans. Simon's name came up more than anyone else. When we began working together, it was easy to see why - Simon knew all the inner workings of the VA system and all the benefits and drawbacks to it. Sellers often usually weren't familiar with VA loans and Simon took a lot of time to work through it.

Simon also gave me a dynamite recommendation on a lender who offered a rate that was .25% better than competitors. He's very knowledgeable of the entire process and at no point did I feel lost even though the home buying process is a jungle at times.
