Really, really disappointing experience here this evening.

We've been regulars at Slices and Ices for a few years, visiting every few months for white pizza.

Tonight was an eye-opening total flop. Husband called from car and ordered ahead - a few slices of pizza and a side order of meatballs. Pretty simple order...

He arrives and he gets his two pieces of pizza but the young woman says she completely forgot about our meatballs. Ugh. She promises it'll just be a few minutes.

No. 25 minutes later, he's still waiting, no apology, no discount, no nothing! He waited so long that he ate his dinner there, alone, finally comes home and honestly, the meatballs were AWFUL and the sauce tasted like it was out of a can. Very heavy tomato with no spices or homemade taste. I ate 1/2 of one meatball and threw it out!

Total waste of time and money! Cannot believe they didn't apologize or offer some small discount for not only forgetting my dinner but making my husband wait for almost 1/2 hour!

Side note - my husband said the pizza also was not up to standards. He actually asked me if they were under new ownership...

I don't think they are open anymore. I have called and showed up several times and there is no answer at the door or the phone.

I'm a New York pizza purist which means cheese only please. Got the 2 slice and drink special for $4.95. The verdict is in. Very tasty, don't scimp on the cheese. Good tasting sauce. I prefer my crust a bit more crispy, but that's just my personal preference.

Two thumbs up for taste, friendly service and cleanliness!

They were packed on this Saturday afternoon. I would definitely come back for more.

Maybe the best place in WF where you can go in and quickly choose from 5 to 10 different types of pizzas, order a slice, sit down and eat it, and be done with all of this in 15 minutes or so. Really great little place they have here!

We were over at Lonestar for a pint and music bingo so we ordered garlic knots and pizza for dinner. It is so awesome they deliver over to the brewery! This is excellent customer service. We were thrilled they made it so easy for us and it was delicious! Hot and cheesy! The garlic knots were flavorful. We will certainly order again soon!

The best pizza in the Raleigh area in my opinion. It's the cheese that makes it amazing! The pizza doesn't come with a layer of grease either! It's just amazing from the dough to the cheese!

Let me just start off by saying if you look through the photos on Yelp, that is not what you are going to find currently. Because that's what I did. Then when I walked in and saw only your basic pizza options looking old, I was disappointed. White pizza was ok and grandma pizza (I believe it was called) was quite good. Went to order a beer and told they didn't have any. Also no one that worked there was wearing a mask. There was plenty of outdoor seating. Overall, it was fine, but nothing like the Yelp photos. I would stop back for a slice if nearby but wouldn't rush back.

They won't let anybody under 18 go in. I was coming from football practice I went in to order some pizza they said I couldn't come in there. That's a damn shame‍‍‍‍‍

New delivery is awesome bc we are located in Rolesville but within the 5 mile rule. It's great tasting pizza. I think I might order a little well done next time so it's crispier and less flop. The mild wings were great too.

Just had delivery, pizza was very hot. It had a healthy amount of toppings. The pizza had a flavor very similar to a generic "take and bake" pizza that could be found at any grocery store. The crust + sauce + cheese is a major disappointment (as it lacks flavor). It's not something I'd save as leftovers and not a place I'd consider buying again. Even though, I do not enjoy the flavor, I do believe it would be a good family pizza, big pizza at a good family price.
