Sloppy Dog Wash

Dropped in to give Ruff a quick bath. This was my first time to this establishment. No greeting or even how can I help you today when I walked into the shop. The overall feeling I had was it was kind of inconvenience for them. Then was charged $22 for the wash that I performed. Little over priced but I know there is overhead costs and my fault for not asking ahead of time. When paying a tip was expected. Really? Then the employee charged me twice on my card... Oh my goodness... It took quite sometime for the employee to call someone and try to remedy the error. I confirmed it was corrected on my credit card so kudos for making that happen.

Now I found a Dog Wash located on 81st and 145th which is at a Car Wash. The facilities has a nice ramp for dogs to walk up into the large tub. You get shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer and it is $8. The bonus here is "I get a clean dog and a clean car."

GO READ MY GOOGLE REVIEW AS WELL! On the BA location. Owner Eric Brown-Odell is nothing more then a terrible business owner and person. We had issues with our grooming services on Aug 5th. My wife contacted Eric through the SDW email she was provided on Aug 6. He replied a few times with no solutions and being passive aggressive towards my wife. After my wife requested a direct number so we can discuss the issue he quit responding. I then sent an email on Aug 8th with my number so he could call me. To which he never replied. Only reply we have received since then was his reply to my google review. His reply is nothing but a fabricated lie and he's trying to slander our names. DO NOT give this "man" your business. Based on many other google reviews I read after our problems, this definitely isn't the first time and probably won't be the last time that he treats people this way when they have a complaint about their services. Mike was out groomer and he did not groom out dogs the way we requested. We asked for a trim and clean up and to Mike and Eric that means it's okay to buzz our Aussie shepherd/poodle mix with a 1.5 guard. I have all the emails to prove him wrong I'm his allegations against us. I also have an anonymous inside source that this isn't the first time Mike messed up and Eric treated customers this way. He also messed up our other aussie shepherd mix by buzzing the top of her back short and giving an all around uneven cut. Before and after pics of my Aussie shepherd poodle mix. Do not take your dog to Sloppy Dog Wash and use their grooming services unless you want to be overcharged for the service and your dog to look like a lion. The owner, Eric Brown, while quick to respond to my email stating my dissatisfaction, is passive-aggressive and rude. He fired me after I told him twice I would not be back to SDW. He was nice and provided me with store credit for which I will never use. I would leave no stars but I didn't have that option.

Take your dogs in and do it yourself. They Have great customer service and help you whenever you need. Plenty of shampoo and conditioners. We take our dogs her all the time.

I love the groomer that does my dog. Her name is Laura and she does everything she can do to please me and make my doggy look great!! Sloppy Dogs was recommended to me when I first moved to Tulsa and they were right about the service there.

Sloppy dog wash is my absolute go to for getting my little shih tzu groomed. They're always so sweet and I always have a request for how she's cut that they always accommodate. I've used multiple stylists and they're all wonderful. I highly recommend this place. I've been to multiple groomers and they're the best in my opinion. Daisy has never been nicked once after years and they always make her look so adorable. Super happy with this place!!

Will NEVER bring my dog here again!
It was my first visit and the younger woman at the front who was kind enough checked me in, asked me if I'd been there before.. I answered no. Then told her my dog was recently washed but he specifically needs his anal glands done. She asked if that was all I needed, I said yes but since it's messy I would also need a wash. She told me she would make a note since it's not something they do unless asked to do so. Happy I had asked I left my dog to get washed. 4 hours later I come to get my pup and ask if they were able to clean out his anal glands. The guy helping me said they don't do that service. Then got the (manager?) who told me they only have groomers do that and that my dog wasn't seen by a groomer. I insisted the lady who checked me in had marked it down for it to be done and assured me it would be. They went to talk to her and came back to tell me "it was busy this morning and she doesn't remember, if she was my assistant she would haven't told you that... but she's not."
Bottom line is if you want a random person to wash your dog for the cost of a groomer wash ... then by all means please bring your dog here, my dog is very clean. If you are expecting a professional to wash your dog and you want any other services besides soap then go somewhere else!

Nope!! Wrong place to wash any dog. The first 4 times I washed here was great. But, the slide downhill was quick. Expect to bath your dog in a nasty environment full of the last hair and worse. Also, their closing time IS NOT their closing time. Please do NOT drive across town (like I have done) expecting to get in 50 minutes before closing. Nope! There are no start times within 1 hour of closing.

My 85-lb Great Dane, GSD, Norwegian Wolf Hound, and who knows what else mixed breed has very fine wavy, fringed fur. It mats easily and I like to keep him groomed. Do you know how hard it is to find a good groomer who takes large dogs? Very! Jac, our groomer, did a great job getting my baby boy groomed. He smells wonderful but not heavily perfumed. The only problem I had was that my husband did not tell her to trim his muzzle short, and I couldn't leave a message for her. We have used the self-service dog bathing stations several times with different dogs, and everything was clean, and the attendant attentive to our needs for more towels or whatever we needed.

I brought my two shelties in today for a bath and, I thought, blow dry. The people were very sweet, but it took longer than expected and they were still wet when I picked them up. I had to come home and finish blow drying them and they actually looked better before they went in then after. Again, very sweet people, but I do not feel I got my money's worth.
