Smith Dray Line Movers Atlas Van Lines will steal you blind! Beware and be forewarned!

We hired this company to pack, store and deliver our belongings to our new home when it was available to move into on July 2, 2018. We moved from Elgin, SC to Murrell's Inlet, SC.

During the delivery the Smith Dray Line unloaders were stealing items out of our new home that we brought there with us. We did report some of it to the Smith Dray Lines management but they had excuses and or made up excuses as we brought things to their attention. We knew it was a dead end issue with them and that something more and bigger was going on with this company.

We noticed things right away with the unloading process and unpacking of our items and started making notes.

So much was broken, damaged and missing. Once we started unpacking we noticed items that were delivered to us weren't our original items from bedroom sets, newer refrigerator, huskey garage cabinets, newer huskey air compressor, bowflex work out gym etc.... That was just a little of the big items they switched out with lesser value items that looked similar. They also switched out all our family antiques, original oil art and prints, stole all our brand new never used Christmas and Halloween items. Family pictures were stolen so we couldn't identify items.

90% of our items weren't even ours! We found our original items being sold all over the Internet on EBay, letgo.com, Etsy, Facebook and all online for sale sites etc.... We also found our belongings being sold on auction estate sales sites.

My signature was forged on a document as well as my Mom's and Mother-in-law's writing was rewritten to try and look like their original writing on items.

Smith Dray Lines are thieves, scammers, liars and even have committed fraud.

We filed a police report. Smith Dray Lines did not want to pay us the monies we were asking or looking to get back so we went through our insurance company and got paid more then Smith Dray Lines the company wanted to pay out even though we paid extra monies to have full replacement coverage for all our items. Smith Dray Lines never sent out their insurance people to investigate our claim.

If you do not mind being called a idiot and stupid then this is the company you may want to do business with but if you do not think that it is professional or necessary to be called these names while doing business with them then hear our warning "do not use this company for your storage or moving needs.
