I started going to Smogster almost a decade ago and I continue to go there because their service is generally quick, the techs are experienced and trustworthy & their prices are affordable. I recently had an issue where my 2004 Audi A6 would not pass smog. I had Smogster do a complete evaluation of what was wrong and had them do the work on my car to get it to pass. It was a difficult process because the parts were on back order everywhere and the owner went out of his way to track down the parts I needed in Germany where they had to be custom made for my vehicle. My car was a very difficult fix mechanically and with issues with the onboard computer chips but Smogster was able to get it to pass smog. I was so relieved because I could finally get my DMV tags and be on the road again. They also do general mechanical work on cars and also do full auto details on site. I got a complete detail on my car and they also restored my headlight lenses which were so cloudy from the CA sun. My car looked amazing when I got it back. The paint shines like new! I highly recommend Smogster. Thanks for your hard work on my car. See you next time I have to star smog certify.

Priced well, good service and quick service. Nice family owned shop. Got to meet the kiddos who kept themselves busy patiently after school while their dad worked.

Easy peasy especially for Saturday. Called first and they stated there was no wait time. Got there and they stated it would take about 15 minutes and it really did. Quick and friendly service.

My car was due for smog and I called to check if they were busy. Luckily they weren't and got me in ASAP! The owner Inder is so kind and always takes care of my family's cars. I highly recommend everyone to come here. Quick service, honest opinion, great hospitality, and AC IN THE WAITING ROOM which is a big plus!!! Thank you for everything

Reply to your reply: Your technician said Saturday, Bring it back in 60 miles after I had my mechanic work on the car. They did oil change and other items and I paid $250+ that day. Went back to get gas and full tank. Went and drove for 60 miles at the 118 freeway back and forth. Came back around 3:20PM after 60 miles and your sensors still said not ready. Then you said come back after 100 miles. I went back sunday around 10AM after getting it above 100 miles since my mechanic saw the car. The technician onsite was nice and said you might need another 50 just to get it to detect the what ever your tool is to check the car. I drove over 50 miles more. Total driving just to get to check the car 187 miles and you still were not able to detect with your sensor.

Your insinuation that I'm lying just shows how shady of a business person you are. You could have just said drive it for a week and bring it back next week.

But 3 different people from you company gave me 3 different information. That's the most upsetting part. I paid more in gas to drive the car around to get you to check it than to pay for your smog test.

I drove 129.9 miles on Saturday and another 183.5 miles on Sunday. Surely this should be enough for you to test now.

I was her Saturday early around 10-11AM. On my way, the check engine light turned on in the car. I took it in and the guy that saw it didn't mention anything about it until after the smog and said the smog failed because of the check engine light. The guy on duty then said come back after you fix and drive for at least 60 miles.

Got the error with the code fixed. 5 miles away. Went back home and got a full tank of gas. Drive for 70 miles.

Went back, owner was there. Then he said their readers could not read it and I need to get it to 100 miles.

Went and drive it up to 120 miles that night.

Sunday, came in earlier at 10. Guy arrived late. Got the tester and said it still not reading. Then said put in another more miles. Went and drove 60 more miles just to get the sensor to read.

Went back in and the guy said he still could not read it.

Since full tank of gas, I have put in 186.8 miles already. They keep changing their stance. What a waste of time and gas and money.

Not worth going here.

If you know that a check Engine light will not let you pass smog, I didnt know that until today, why still do the smog. Why not say fix it first then drive x number of miles and come back...

Go somewhere else who are honest.

Went to smogster's to get my van smog test best price around. Jason the owner was very polite and professional. It was a Friday last day of school so he had his two kids who made my 10 minute wait full of laughter. Bottom line this place is fast & a great value. Definitely my new spot . Very other place quoted $35 bucks more .

I've gone to Smogster's in Reseda for many years on all our family's cars. Reason, they're honest, efficient and always do things right. If there's a problem, such needed to run on freeway, they'll let us know, and get it rechecked. They're quick and convenient. Never any surprises on the bill. Very nice people too.
