SMOKIN' AMJ BBQ

Was in the neighborhood, saw their truck and decided to pull in. Never heard of them and I was tired of the same thing over and over again. Got some ribs, pulled pork sandwich, brisket sandwich, corn and potato salad. The food was delicious. HOWEVER... the ribs are killer!!! So juicy and FULL OF MEAT! UNBELIEVABLE! I could only eat 2 of the 6. Bbq sauce was not needed as the rub was more than enough. Did have plenty of pepper in the spices but I'm a huge fan of pepper so no complaints. I can't wait to go back!

I had the pork belly taco and it was awesome. I love that he asked if we would like more fatty pieces or not. The tortilla was really good too. The BBQ sauce was really good as well.

I have tried a little of everything from something simple as sausage to all his slowed cooked meats. Brisket, pulled pork, and fajitas. Meat is so tender and you can taste the smoke in the meat and know that it was cooked nice and slow in the pit. Food is awesome and goes well with a nice cold one. Would definitely recommend to others.

The best pulled pork I've had in a very long time!! They aren't shy with the portions either!

Wow. My wife and I stopped by for a drink at Bentley's (also 5 stars) and found Smokin AMJ BBQ across the street on the corner outside a brewery. We thought we would give them a try since we were looking to get lunch and it smelled so good. Well it tasted better than it smelled. We both had the texas style beef rib and it was the best we had in texas (we ate beef ribs in Dallas 2x, Houston, Austin). We loved it so much that we went back for another rib about 2 hours later. This was absolutely the best ribs and we both highly recommend. prices were reasonable too.
