I saw a coupon to SFO FOR $49.00 I called to make arrangements for a pick up the person who answered the telephone said No, No we do not honor the coupon. Then why advertise for $49.00 you jerk!

My recent use of this limo service reminded me that I need to check Yelp before trying out something new. :(
Like another review said, we got a coupon in the mail for this service with reasonably priced rates to SFO. When we called to book, the price was $2 more than on the coupon, but we figured it was close enough and didn't make a big stink. Our ride to SFO was good...the driver showed up 15 minutes early, the car was clean and in good condition, etc. We thought we had been lucky enough to find a new service that we would be using for airport trips going forward.
Then we returned from our trip. We had pre-scheduled our pick up at SFO when we had scheduled our original ride to the airport. We called (as directed) after landing and was told they had us scheduled for pick up another day! Obviously, we were surprised and concerned, but they said they would call us back in 5 minutes. They did and then they basically told us we were out of luck and needed to find another way home.
I can appreciate that mistakes can happen with scheduling (even though I sometimes find it challenging to understand how errors like this get made), but what floored me is that there was no attempt to resolve the mistake. No phone call made to another service on our behalf, no offer of a free ride next time, no attempt at all to rectify the situation. if I could characterize a service as being front-to-back INCOMPETENT this would be the tangible incarnation of that word.
We recently had to pay for absolutely horrendous service from downtown San Jose to Levi Stadium and return. Here is what we got to experience...and paid for it!
The driver did not know where to pick us up and the service did not advise that we had to go to one of the streets adjacent to Santana Row for pick up. From the moment we got in the car there was a pervasive sense of inexperience in regards to the driver's knowledge of what was required.
The driver seemed like every minute was his first minute.
When we arrived at Levi Stadium the driver stated that he would call me with the location of where we needed to be picked up and we would meet them at that location. Fine...great idea. Too bad at 1700 when the car was supposed to pick us up it was nowhere to be seen.
Now for the finale... because the driver really had no idea or intention of participating in the customer/vendor experience we had to play phone tag with the company to find a location to meet the car in a place I had NEVER BEEN before. Levi Stadium and the local police have a roadway scheme that closes roads and reroutes traffic. We were given no firm location of pickup... only that we would get instructions later.
Too bad my Step Father is in his 80's and had to walk out to the college.... if we only had a company that had experience in providing a quality service many of these issues simply wouldn't have happened.
Call for the limo... did that (scheduled pickup wasn't so scheduled)
Direct the limo... also did that (not from around here but found a place)
Open doors... did that too... (I should have driven the car too)
The only time the driver really tuned into the task was when he asked for payment for services rendered (or should I say cobbled together).
Long story short.. there are PLENTY of options for reliable transportation in the SJC area and this is NOT ONE OF THEM. If you like some-assembly-required user participation this might work... but who want to do that when you are paying someone else to perform a service.

So is the "fare" $34, as advertised, or $45, as Arun thinks? $34 seems like false and misleading advertising to me.
Remember when airlines were doing the same thing and regulatory agencies stepped in to get truth-in-advertising. Here it seems like the CPUC (which regulates limo services) is asleep at the wheel.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

In response to your "Update", We comply with all requirements by the CPUC and follow industry standards in advertising that ALMOST ALL LIMO Companies follow. In addition, UNLIKE a lot of other companies, we are ethical enough to give the customer an all-inclusive price BEFORE you book and we NEVER surprise a customer with a price that is different from what was quoted to them during booking. In the event that the CPUC decides to change advertising requirements, we will be more than happy to comply as we are confident that our all-inclusive rates will STILL be some of the most competitive rates that you will see out there. Response to first review: Thank You for your comment. I am sorry that you failed to read your coupon before you called us. It is stated on the coupon in Not-so-fine print that the prices are base rates and do not include Airport Fees and Fuel surcharges. Our rates are available on our website and we also make sure to tell you those rates BEFORE you book a trip with us rather than springing an unexpected charge on you after your trip.Jun 25, 2012Previous reviewS.N. Limousine sends out coupons for low rates to SJC (in my case, $34 from my home to SJC) but then actually charges much more ($45 from my home). When asked about that Arun emailed me that it was $45 with taxes and fees. I asked if taxes and fees were $11 each way, he did not answer that question and just stated that their fares were $45. I won't patronize them after this.

I have been using SN Limo for several years and have been completely satisfied with the service. I live very rural and they have always been able to find me and return me on time. Would recommend them and I will use them again.

I have been using SN Limo for several years now. They always show up early for my pickup time. They are always reliable. After a long travel time, I never have to worry about whether or not they will be there to bring me home. Great service.

Should be negative 10 rating. Pick up at sfo last time, called to let them know I was out front (they claim they wait in cell lot), 20min later called them again. They said coming in 5min. Asked why he didn't need my name when I called first time. He said cause I was only pick up then. Total 30min wait after 14hr flight. I was stupid enough to think it may be an anomaly. Just had exact same experience and am on the ride right now. Only this time when I called second time he claimed I never called... I told him I'd gladly send screenshot of my call log to prove it, he denied. I told him I'd never use this service again and he had the audacity to tell me that he's canceling and to get a cab. Unreal. Then will not pick up my calls. My wife set up my pick up so I called her to call them. She got me picked up... But unreal... I never used profanity or anything. At least not outside of my thoughts. Put these guys out of business let everyone know. Like the others on here with terrible reviews, always check yelp, I wish I did. Can u believe that??? Oh ya, maybe u can't believe me since dispatch called me a liar I might be..

Reserved the ride to SFO. The driver called 5 mins in advance, the car was clean and in good condition. The same happened on the way back from SFO. The only problem is that drivers rely on GPS too much, so if you now the faster direction to your home tell it to the driver.

I am a long term customer with SN Limo. I used them about 10 to 15 times to get from San Jose to SFO. Never had any bad experience. They are always on time, polite and have very competitive pricing in addition to nice cars. I am a very happy customer.

I scheduled a ride to the airport on line with them. I received a confirmation the next day. They NEVER showed up to pick me up! I called the AM of the flight and no answer! They stated afterwards they forgot to put me on their list!! It cost me $75 to change my flight as I missed my flight having to drive myself to the airport and another $60 in long term parking fees! They refused to answer my email to reimburse me anything! DON'T USE THEM!!
