Good quality and authentic Margarita pizzas in Taipei.
Good quality and authentic Margarita pizzas in Taipei.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Nov 9, 2019Previous reviewThe pizza here is good enough for me to have a cheat meal on a keto diet. The pizza was up to par for an authentic Napoletana pizza.

This is actual pizza - and delicious. A rare find for Taiwan, and a delicious, great place to sit and grab a bite. There's a great place to sit and chill while you wait for your pizza. If you're from the USA and missing home, this will bring you a nice homey vibe.
The pizzas themselves are personal pan pizzas. They are pretty good, which for Taiwan means they're the best in town.
***(Please take note any other restaurants in Taipei that think you are making pizza, but is actually just garbage dressed up as pizza.)*** :DHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - David K.Paris, France14164Aug 25, 2017
We went there based on the post from @hungryintaipei from Instagram - so if you are new the Taipei Main Train Station is about a ten minute walk. We went inside and your first order and pay at the counter. Then you sit down and they call you to pick up your food. The experience and environment is very home like.
The pizza itself is very good. The bread excellent and the red sauce also very good but not enough on my pizza! I wanted more as it was really that good.
The place had lots of people and many had already finished eating before we arrived. But we're talking and enjoying themselves. Which is nice.
I will go back next I am in the area.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ranley K.Songshan District, Taiwan104450577Oct 24, 2017
I really really miss these kinds of order first, sit down and chill pizzarias that are so abundant in the states. Solo does a great job of filling that gap in my heart.
Solo is a pretty Italian style pizzaria serving 6-8 inch personal pizzas at a pretty decent price of 160-250NT. I actually pass this place almost everyday on my lunch break and see a fare amount of people coming in and out of it.
We came at lunch time on a Saturday and the place was pretty full with only one or two empty tables. Have someone in your party go in to grab a table as you get on line to put down your order. Once your order is ready, it's self pick up, so make sure you pay attention! You also have to pick up your own utensils and clean up after yourselves! Meal time is 80 (or was it 85?) minutes.
Gf and I ordered the margarita and margarita extra. I think the regular margarita would've sufficed since the extra seemed like it was just extra sauce, but was 100NT more expensive. All in all, despite the small size, the pizza itself was very filling. Crust wasn't burnt to a crisp and actually very soft.
Overall, not really my favorite style of pizza, but would definitely come back if I were invited. I really like the relaxed and chill vibe of the place. Great place to stop for a quick bite and chat with friends if you're shopping around in the area.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Seanne S.Taipei, Taiwan2055Sep 23, 2015
Best pizza I have had in Taipei. Oven baked, simple and delicious. A must, if you are a lover of pizza :)
