Thank you for your quick prompt and professional service. We had an unexpected problem with our Dodge Ram 3500 yesterday. Traveling and being far from home it is difficult to know who you can trust. I called this morning and the receptionist was very friendly and told me it would probably be a few hours before she could get someone to our location in the RV park. Within 30 minutes Nelson arrived and diagnosed the problem almost immediately. We had a fuel line injector leaking and the truck was leaking fuel and would not start. Nelson called the office and they ordered the part and within a few hours the truck was fixed. There service was exceptional and their charges were very reasonable. Highly recommend their service.

A 4 hour job turned into 6 days. On a Saturday morning at 7:30 am and after giving our engine information we were assured they could repair our RV. Promised a mechanic would be there by 9:30 am. 2:30 pm, 5 hours later than original time, mechanic finally showed up. 7 hours later our alternator was finally removed (a 2 hour job). Since it was a Saturday, the part they assured us they had on their truck ended up not fitting our engine and they would then order it on Monday morning. We were told they didn't work on Sunday. So my husband and I with 2 kids sat on a parking lot yet another day. Sunday morning my husband ordered the part over the phone through NAPA Auto Parts so that we'd have it Monday. Monday came, and we took some flack for ordering the part. (REALLY? We're trying to get HOME!!!) My husband rented a car, drove to Miami to get the part so the mechanic would have it to put the new alternator back on. We had the new alternator back by 3:00. Mechanic showed up at 6 pm and installed new alternator, which took another 3 hours. When we turned our engine on we still did not get the voltage reading we should with a new alternator. Mechanic then said we needed new batteries. We were charged an hour and a half rate to put two new batteries in our RV, a 20 minute job. After new batteries were installed, we STILL were not getting correct readings on our panel for voltage. Mechanic checked alternator voltage, which was reading 14 amps. But our panel was showing 11 amps. Something was still not right. Mechanic left because he knew we were upset. At the end of day 3, we still were not fixed, and then all of the sudden we started leaking oil!!! SO. We called our mechanic back home who told us we could limp 10 miles into a campground. Yes, we were camped out on a Circle K parking lot for those 3 days. We get to campground and next day, Tuesday, hook up with a local mechanic recommended by NAPA. He came out on Wednesday, looked at our CAT 4 engine, and said he'd get and study the schematics of our alternator and come back on Thursday. Thursday he returned and discovered the mechanic from South Florida Mobile Mechanics failed to test the wire he crimped going from the alternator to the engine, which was cut completely in half. Therefore no charge from the alternator was reaching the engine. SO. A simple 4-5 hour job cost us ALOT OF MONEY AND TIME!!!! We were billed for WAY MORE THAN WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE TO ANYONE! I don't think the South Florida Mobile Mechanic knew what he was doing. He was on the phone to his boss many hours during the fix. Then we had the added expense of renting a car to get the part, 3 overnight stays at a campground waiting on a new mechanic, and the expense of the 2nd mechanic to get us back on the road. We were heading home to West Virginia. Not a short trip to throw caution into the wind. I will report these people to the BBB of Florida as well.
