As an update to this review on Monday, 6/19, the owner of the business has harassed my husband via text message over the weekend regarding this review after refusing to answer texts about picking up our key, and as of Monday has still refused to confirm that we can pick up the key to my vehicle when we return from vacation despite having the time to send harassing texts and write sarcastic review responses. Completely at a loss as to how to proceed, massively unprofessional, and this harassing, unprofessional behavior from shop owner/staff has ruined a vacation weekend.

Original post: Refused to return the key to my car after being paid in full for services on a Friday. Claimed they "didn't know"
they were paid after agreeing to leave key with the car- we found all of this out when we went to pick the car up after hours, and it was left unlocked without a key sitting on the side of the road outside the shop. Did not make an attempt to arrange to return key until the next week- MASSIVE INCONVENIENCE when I had travel plans for the weekend. Not to mention- leaving a customer's unlocked car sitting on the side of the road with no accessible key for an entire weekend after they have paid and arranged to pick it up? Thank god I had a spare key and figured out what was happening before someone who wanted to steal my car or it's contents did. Incredibly unprofessional, and could've ended very badly, all for a simple oil change. There are always two sides to every story and somewhere in the middle is the whole truth. Again we apologize that you had a bad experience. Obviously there are some people that you just can't make happy, but let's get a few facts straight. First thing is, most everything these days are done electronically to which noone has much control on how fast things get pushed through. When Mr. Sol Shelton made the payment, it took a while to show on our system that the invoice had been paid. Whether it was delayed due to his bank or our card processor, either way there wasn't much we could do until it processed. As to the key you claim we refused to give u, we called an employee after he had already got off work and went home to his family to enjoy their weekend to go back to the shop to give you the key, but we got a message stating that you had already picked the car up with a spare, so I don't understand why you are making it seem like you had no way of accessing the vehicle when you obviously did. Your calling us unprofessional for leaving an unlocked vehicle sitting on the side of the road (it was outside our gate) which is exactly where Mr. Sol Shelton instructed us to leave it. It was in the same spot Mr. Shelton dropped it off at unlocked WITH the key inside, before we opened, so if your going to tell the story, the tell the whole story. Not just half versions of the truth because you were upset things did not get done fast enough for your satisfaction. Not to mention the fact if the invoice had shown to be paid before we closed, we were still instructed by Mr. Shelton to leave the car outside the gate with the key in it so if it had gotten stolen that would of been on you not us because we done what we were told to do by the owner. We did try to accomadate you the best we could and sorry that was not good enough.

A person pulled out in front of me and I hit them. All the auto body work and mechanical work was handled through Southside. They did a wonderful job! They made a 2019 vehicle look brand new both inside and out. Would highly recommend
