The past reviews had me a bit nervous coming here but I figured I try it for myself and give my review.

I booked via online for an 80 minute acupressure massage, 50 min luxury deluxe facial with jelly mask and a 30 min Indian head massage. The Massages was a full 5 stars for me. Pressure was exactly what I asked, a full 10 (1-10) and was consistent throughout. I had the same person for the Indian Head massage. Facial was nice , my skin looks and feels amazing. Although I appreciate the silence, I was curious what products were being used on my face and what device or procedure was being done. The esthetician didn't say a word, however, I mentioned it checking out at the front desk and was receptive to letting people know what she used or what she was doing.

The removal of the one star is a bit much for me I wish I could just remove 1/2. This is because of punctuality. My appt was for 10:00am and I showed up 10-15 mins early, to fill out any paperwork or use the restroom. Sadly I stood outside, waiting until I was greeted by an employee pulling up to unlock the door at 10:01am. Not terribly late, however, as an establishment I'd like to think staff would arrive 30mins to an hour prior to opening to get things in order for clients for the day. Needless to say I was in a room and waiting on the table around 10:20am. And my appt started about 10:30am

About 5-10mins of me waiting was listening in on an intense conversation between a male and female, it was a bit argumentative and quite loud. However, I understand that noise can carry into the rooms because the facility is not that big. The hallway is fairly large and lobby and rooms are close to each other---May I suggest a sound machine to help muffle out lobby and hallway traffic and voices.

Although my appt started late, my time was not taken from me. Staff was very sweet and attentive. I was offered water afterwards. Facility was very nice, clean and organized. Bathroom was clean as well.

I would return for another appointment.

The massage wasn't bad, but the girl was loud. She kept dropping things and (lightly) bumping my head. It didn't hurt or anything but was annoying because I couldn't relax. They want cash tips and have an ATM, apparently she expected $20 because she just took it and said thank you, without offering me change. She didn't deserve a $20 tip. I do not think the person I got was a licensed massage therapist. I think it was just a person who rubs backs.

The St. Mary's county location is a JOKE! Unprofessional, rude, & unable to satisfactorily run a business.

Can I give -5 starts?!! This place is not our normal. We decided to try a new place. Never again. We had a 10:00 appointment and when we came in the place was a wreck with employees flying all over the place, vacuuming and not at all ready to receive us. No one greeted us, it was off putting at first. The place was gorgeous though, so we stayed and chucked it up to them just opening and needing some time to adjust. Anywho, we get into the spa room, the room is freezing, but we undress quickly and get settled. The staff outside the room are yelling back and forth. Is this a massage place or the stadium? Sooo...okay next thing, they leave us in there for 20 minutes, naked freezing on the cold bed. They finally come (no introductions, they just starts) and we have the massage which is..okay. Constantly getting them to adjust the pressure, it's as if they didn't read our notes left prior to the message. We get through the massage and go to check out.

We go to check out and the price quoted at the time I reserved (over a month ago) was not the price given at checkout. I tell her that that wasn't the price quoted to us and she informs us at checkout that the price change the day before Christmas in which I replied, " well I wish the representative who called yesterday told us." She didn't seem to understand nor apologize and said it was out of her control. We proceeded to pay the now up charged price and go about our day. She then proceeded to harass for a tip that would have been included had we not been surprised with the up charge of the service that should have been communicated to us before hand. I don't mind tipping at all but you let me know what it is before hand and don't just screw me out my coins AND THEN press me out for your tip. I came prepared to pay this price not $60 extra. It's out of your control, then talk to your manager and leave me out of it.

This place is TRASH. Service TRASH. Communication TRASH. Attitude TRASH. Massage MEDIOCRE AT BEST.

Here's the tip- train your staff, communicate your price changes, don't go back and forth with me as the customer. You should have honored the damn price change that I was quoted a month ago, or at the very LEAST, when your representative called the day before to confirm our appointment to then inform me of the up charge, NOT at checkout.

3 strikes you're out. I've visited this spa multiple times with hopes of making this my permenant go to. But this is where we part ways. Everytime I request an appointment I always request Carmen because she gives a phenomenal massage. But the last 3 times there is always some mishap. 2nd visit she was late. That was not a problem. But then she decided to just send someone else in without asking me if it was okay. I had a male do my massage and it was terrible. When. I was finished the manager asked how it was and I said it was OK but she could tell from my face that I was lying. I told her I requested Carmen but she wasn't here. That's when I was told she was there sleeping in the back. She cane up front and apologized and I told her it was okay and still made another appt with her for my next visit.

Upon my next visit I checked in and told them I had an appointment with Carmen. I was taken to my room. As I layed on the table a male walks in again. I immediately asked where was Carmen. He said she was starting another massage. So I told him my appointment was with her if she's not available I'll go. He left and got her and again she walked in and apologized. You would think I would learn my lesson by now. Nope. Made another appointment with Carmen. After working 7 days a week 16hr shifts for over a month I was really looking forward to my massage. I check in and the same Male says Carmen is in an appointment. Can you come back in an hr. I told him no I can't I'm leaving and I won't be back. What made it worst was the fact that she called me herself the night before to confirm my appointment. When i told the gentlemen that he said himself " i believe you she always does stuff like this". A waste of gas and time.

This place is beautiful. But when it comes to time management and scheduling they are terrible.

This was a terrible experience for me. Overpriced and unprofessional. They weren't prepared when we got in. I called days before to let them know my preference for just female masseuse but they still got it wrong. They were arguing while we were filling out paperwork. We were told that they were short staffed. One was sick and one was in a car accident. When we got in the rooms we waited 15 minutes after getting undressed and you can hear everything, the phone ringing, them arguing again. When they got in there they were loud and proceeded to tell us they didn't have another female, so I agreed to let the male massage me. They were very heavy handed. I kept hearing my girlfriend say, too much. I felt violated during my massage. While he was massaging my back I felt his finger tips grazing my butt crack. I kept my underwear on but before he got started he rolled them low ( I'm thinking to get to my lower back) . I pulled my underwear back up and the cover up a bit. The rest of the massage I couldn't relax after that. It felt unprofessional and I don't think they are licensed. I will NEVER go back. Room was nice. That's about it.

My husband and I had a couples massage here in April. We both enjoyed our massages. It doesn't look like much on the outside but it's much nicer looking when you get in. I felt the prices were fair and I liked that you could book everything online. It was fast and convenient. Make sure to bring cash for tipping! They do not allow tips to be added if you pay with a card.

My boyfriend and I went to go get a couple massage here. We got the 80 minute session. My favorite part was the hot himilayan stones. The masseuse I had was OK she was a little too firm in sensitive areas and too soft in areas that could use more pressure but she adjusted when she checked in with me. The place was clean and simple. I would probably go back but ask for a male masseuse

Absolutely horrific. I went for a massage because I had back pain. Not only was the appointment painful, I now have to see a doctor to help with what you did to me. Will never be back.
