Spark Performance & Physiotherapy

This is my second time and it means I trusted Dr. Steven that's why I came back. First for my partially torn ankle and this time it's my knee. I highly recommend him and you will not be disappointed. Physical theraphy is his expertise and his service is excellent. Don't think twiice and call his office to book for an appointment.

I went to spark with knee probs very hesitant that it couldnt be fixed due to having gone to many drs and specialists. Little things such as walking to my kitchen from my bedroom was so difficult for me.... walking from my car into the building I work in.. it was impossible.
After working with Steven for 7 weeks my knee is completely back to being normal with a wide range of motion. I am able to do the things I couldn't just 7 weeks ago!!!!!
I am so ecstatic that spark was the answer to over a year of ongoing issues.
Ive decided that since Steven has been amazing to work with, very informative, patient and professional about what he does... I signed me and my husband up for monthly 1:1 training to stay in shape so the issue doesn't come back. Steven is now helping to align my structure and I've been able to get back into gym!!!

I got my life back! I couldn't be more happy and thankful that there was someone who wanted me to heel, who cheered me on and pushed me to keep going.
I still remember when I met him I said, "I just want help, someone to care enough to help me get better and not just suggest meds"
And spark performance has granted that.

Steven is a great therapist. Very knowledgeable. Always on time ame prepared. Has a positive upbeat attitude. Best of all my health issues improved drastically within a few appointments. I also came home with an email of examples of my therapies to do at home. All insurance claims are done for you through the office. I was clear beforehand what my out of pocket expenses would be. Steven is a great teacher and philosopher. I'd go every day if my income allowed.

I am a marathon runner who had a hamstring strain from overuse. Steven helped rehab my so I could run pain free! Really knowledgeable and goes over and beyond to make sure you meet your goal. I would highly recommend seeing him for any sports injury.

I started working with Steven in April, after I cancelled my surgery for rotator cuff repair. 3 months in, my range of motion has improved and pain is decreased substantially! I can actually sleep through the night again. The most surprising part of my decision was that my surgeon was totally on board, and actually encouraged me in my decision to utilize physical therapy! Steven is focused, he works one on one with his patients, so if something isn't working, he changes it, right there! Friends can't believe I decided against surgery - but once I did the research, and asked my questions, I realized that PT was the way to go. I can go on vacation, ride my bike, work out and continue to play with my grandson!! Thank you Steven for your patience, and for educating me on ALL my options.

I went in having shoulder pain and Steven found that it wasn't my shoulder but actually my neck with TOS, thoracic outlet syndrome. He designed a treatment plan and worked with my schedule and alleviated my pain. I'm now back to my normal life after being in constant pain for months. PT mixed in with dry needling and scrapping, he does amazing work and I would recommend him to anyone who's looking to improve their life in any aspect.

Steven has helped me in ways I never knew a PT could. I've had severe migraines for years. I've been on every medication and even tried botox. They would help a little, but not much. Then Steven did an assessment and found the problem was actually stemming from my neck. He helped me with stretching out my neck and gave me some exercises that have really helped reduce my migraines! He also did some dry needling, which I had never heard of before, but that was amazing! Less pain and no drugs to take! Doesn't get better than that! Steven was able to really assess me and fix my problem, more than any doctor had done. I am so grateful for his help, I'd recommend anyone see him. He'll figure out the problem and find a way to help fix it and get you back to your life!

I have been suffering from daily headaches for years. I know that a lot of it comes from my neck and upper back. I have tried so many modalities of treatment without success and although I have been prescribed physical therapy before, I thought "how could this help headaches?", and kept putting off making the appointment. In just one visit with Dr. Alexander at Spark Performance and Physiotherapy I noticed significant improvement in the tightness of my neck muscles and an improvement in the severity of my headaches by the very next day!! I was introduced to a new treatment method called dry needleing, one of many options offered there at Sparks, and it was just what I needed. I learned new neck stretches that were tailored for the specific problem I was experiencing and feel very confident in the knowledge of my therapist. I am SO excited for my headaches to continue to improve with each session and cannot WAIT to get back to living my life without debilitating pain! This guy knows his stuff. I'm extremely picky on who I trust with my shoulder. After a recommendation to see the "shoulder guru" to help repair my shoulder from a complicated (third) shoulder surgery, I couldn't resist in checking him out. I had extreme doubts if I'd be able to do my job let alone be in my profession again. I've done years of therapy with multiple different therapists to no avail. His technique has definitely set him apart from the rest by allowing me to return back to work full duty faster than any other Physical Therapist I've seen. He massages the tissue extremely well and even works with electroacupuncture to help manage the painful adventures of healing. I frequently rely on my shoulders and arms as a Certified Nursing Assistant to get me through a 12.5 hour day lifting 50lbs easy multiple times throughout a shift. I definitely feel confident being back to work knowing I have this guy on my team. A HUGE thanks to Steven and his massive knowledge of the human body.
