Very reliable and responsive. Hadn't really dealt with plumbers before and this was a huge full re-piping project among 3 or 4 specific needs.
Chris and Steve were knowledgeable and hard workers..would recommend again, will use again !Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Erin K.Destin, FL02Feb 20, 2024
Stay away from this company; hire ANYONE else. They are better salespeople than plumbers. I hired them because they came out quickly to quote and could do the job soonest. Unfortunately not only did they do a terrible job; most of what they did was unnecessary. I am now paying a second contractor to come and fix their work. They refused any type of refund so I will have to waste additional time and money going to small claims court now. This company is taking advantage of people and ripping them off.

WARNING!!! Beware of their scam! When you book an appointment, they say they want a two-hour window to inspect for probable causes of your problem. What they don't tell you is they're going to charge you two hours regardless of the work they do. I had a toilet replace for cosmetic reasons, not a plumbing problem. I provided all the parts and they only preformed 45 minutes of labor and charge $505. And that was with a 5% military discount. They charged three times more than the cost of labor preformed. Stay away from this company!!

Sean was the plumber that was sent to do the work on our plumbing. He provided excellent service! Sean stayed past 5:00 which was his quitting time. It took awhile to find the leak on the kitchen plumbing but he did find it and came back the following Thursday to finish the job. Sean let us know what the problem was and the steps he took to fix it.
Sean was professional and courteous. He cleaned up afterwards and didn't leave a mess for us to clean up unlike previous plumbers we have hired.
The lady answering the calls was very nice and provided us with updates on the time Sean would be sent out.
Overall Spartan provided excellent service. We plan to use them in the future for any plumbing problems!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Michael T.Sparta, TN01Dec 15, 2023

Spartan plumbing scam artists
Short Story: first time well owner ran out of water with newborn (which they knew) and called Spartan who did not give me an estimate over the phone charged me 3x the market price to put in a well tank.
Long Story: Bought my house 2 years ago which is on a well and I did not grow up with a well. When my water ran out I had no clue how to determine what was causing the issue. I called Spartan who said they didn't give estimates for different services over the phone and said they had to have a tech come out and see.
When they got here they said my well tank went bad and showed me prices, fixed estimates. I know that I should have shopped around for the best price but wasn't really in a situation to wait for water. Just as a warning after calling around I found replacing a well tank should be 800-1500 dollars(found out later). Spartan charges 3000 for the cheapest option.
They did an okay job I will give them that but overall I felt like I was at a car dealership. I had to go to work and my wife was left when she signed the receipt and mentioned one of the guys couldn't even look her in the face knowing full well we were being ripped off. She also asked for an itemized receipt and was told it was a flat fee. When I called the next day to ask for that same service of a 20 gallon well tank replacement they wouldn't give it to me saying it all depends on what is being done. Long story short do not shop this plumber.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Hiram A.Manassas, VA2782027May 13, 2021First to Review
The technician Brandon was unprepared for the job. I waited for him for 1 hour, after he initially showed up without the proper tool to shut the ware off at the curb and he showed up again with the wrong tool to shut the water off from the street and could not do the job until the city turned the water off. After he told
me he would wait, I incurred a $55 charge because of his incompetence and lack of preparation. I told him I would be right back while he waited on the city to come and turn the water on. After allegedly 34 minutes he left. If I waited for him for 1 hour plus he could have done the same. Nonetheles, I will not be using them again. Can I get refund for the $55 i spent for Brandon to be able to do his job and he didn't??Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Scott C.Oakland, CA2514Oct 26, 2022
WAY Overpriced!!
Compare their estimate with others
Don't make the same mistake I did.
Had an outdoor faucet replaced
Cost was over $1200.00 !!
I was in a hurry and didn't want to pay a trip charge and not have the work done.
Mistake!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Janelle B.Centerville, OH01Jul 25, 2022
Spartan was responsive in the beginning, but after they did the initial job and we continued to have leaks, they were less eager to help. This company overcharged us by 3x the amount. If you charge this much, you should have better solutions for customer instead of trying to nickel and dime them. We ended up needing to do a reroute and this other company charged us much less than than our costs for the initial leak. Please make sure you get multiple quotes before deciding who will do your plumbing work. I made the mistake of not doing this and we suffered the consequences.

I I wouldn't give one star but I had to give a rating ! They came out worked 4 hours on the job . Supposed to be professional . He was doing a drain clean out . He couldn't find the clean out . So I found it in about less than 2 minutes . I had to pull the toilet that I just installed . Because he couldn't find a clean out . He started sneaking my drain . Couldn't get the snake through and told me the bottom of my pipe was gone and that I would have to pay a minimum of $8,000 to have my whole line dug up. I called a different company they came out they found that the clean out cap had fell down in the pipe they pulled the pipe out cleaned out my roots in about an hour and everything's fine . So I don't have to dig my whole yard up . I called and talked to the owner and he told me there was nothing he was going to do to help me he would not refund my $275 so I ended up paying $275 + 550 to have a simple drain clean out so no don't have Spartan do your work for you !
