Spin City Laundromat

Although the prices increased a bit more than I appreciate (post-covid-19 until today) it's just where we feel comfortable doing our laundry & sometimes dropping it off/picking it up washed/dried/folded/bagged (double the price) for the past few years. We've tried a few other places within a mile radius of the connector and ultimately it's been our go-to laundromat. We're not going to be doing our laundry in a laundromat for much longer, so until that day comes we're going to clean our clothes at Spin City.

***Current price for self service runs about $40-50 including vending machine detergent/bleach to wash/dry approx. 30 lbs using the regular washers/extra large dryers.

***Drop Off/Pickup runs roughly $100+ for same day service.

I am so beyond appalled at what just happened with this business. i recently had a pipe burst and needed all of my and my kids clothing cleaned, and at 95 cents a pound ( i had 120 pounds) i thought it was worth it. when i called about the service i asked do i need to drop it off? they told me no we will pick it up! when arrived with my clothing the next day the very rude man demanded 273$. he told me with pickup up delivery it is 1.79 a pound. umm well your website says free pickup and delivery, your website says .95 cents a pound. He tells me/ everyone charges for pickup and delivery! after an hour of arguing- showing him the website for his business that states FREE PICKUP AND DELIVERY. he says that that's old. while he starts to threaten me that he's taken back and selling all of my kids clothing i have no choice but to pay it. i am reporting to BBB. please DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. they are deceitful and do not honor their prices. he wouldn't even let me get the 10% off d

Spin City has done an excellent job from pick-up to wash and dry. It's really great getting nice clean, scented and folded laundry back. Especially great for those that are physically disabled and can't do their own laundry! Thank you so much.

You know those times when you see a small business struggling (like during a pandemic) and you choose them over other businesses because they're local? That's why I picked Spin City. Their rates weren't the lowest but also not the highest in my area -- I think he told me @ 1.29/ lb for the wash/dry/ pick up service, not including the tip. The service was scattershot -- we'd arrange dates + times for pick up and he'd show up earlier or later or never He apologized and said he needed drivers. I was okay with that. Other weird things happened -- like he told me he was stuck in traffic in Lowell with my laundry -- this service is in Lynn, why was my laundry in Lowell? A canvas laundry bag was returned with broken handles -- no apology. After about five months, I noticed the cost of my service suddenly went up by 30%. I thought there was a mistake and contacted the owner. He told me that yes their prices had gone up. Legally, I think he has to make his customers aware of a price change but I wasn't going to take him to court over the extra money he charged me. I just moved to another service. Lots out there.

Pretty good laundry mat. They have a variety of washers to fit all of your needs. You have to purchase a laundry card for $5 on your initial visit in order to load money to wash and dry your clothes.
The cheapest wash is $ 5.95 with the most expensive around $22 based on the settings that you choose . The dryers are 1cent/20 mins. They also have a huge dryer that is $1, but I'm not sure how long it drys for, seeing why would you pay $1 when you can pay a few pennies.
They have soap, softeners, and dryer sheets for sale in site in case you run out or forget yours (I don't recommend purchasing them though because they are overpriced). They have 2 vending machines in case you get hungry or thirsty while you wash. They also have drop off/pick up service .
They sell laundry bags.
They have a private lot off to the side .
They do have a bathroom, but beware, there is never any hand soap.
They owner is very kind

So incredibly expensive - it's actually ridiculous. I spent $20 because of their card loading system since their small washers are puny for $3 a load and then the next size up is $4.50 which is like quadruple the size of the small washer. Don't come here unless you want to waste all of your money on laundry - easily could've gone down the street and done my three loads and dried for $10. Clean - nice laundromat but just so pricy for no reason.

Fist time here and I'm so disappointed and so mad. I left my brand new Tide soap with them for my 2 bed covers and I also left my fabric softener that was good for about 4 loads. I payed $20 dls plus $6 dls tip they were doing the job for me ( I'm usually a very good costumer wherever I go) so when I went to pick it up they told me that they finish my fabric softener which it was ok (not to happy but it wasn't new) and when I try to pick up my Tide soap it was almost to the bottom, they must of used it for there other customers!!!! So mad and disappointed that they weren't honest!!
They are going to loose more because I'm never going back.

I used them for a while and they do great work and the fact that they pick up and deliver is a plus. I stopped using them because my price literally doubled one week without notice.

I've been to Spin City a couple of times now and I couldn't be more pleased with their service. Edward is super friendly and the crew is always smiling. And they do precision folding - i think these guys are probably great at origami.

For me, worth the effort of sloggin' 'cross town.

I was glad to see that they do a drop off/pick up service, but they are very pricey. I paid $40 for such a small load. I know I could've easily paid for cheaper. They also didn't let me know that I wouldn't be getting my clothes the same day. Regardless, I will continue to use them for my services because they are very professional compared to other laundry services I have dealt with. They also offer cash or card when they drop off your bag, which is a plus!
