Ok, so,
Wifey & I are resolute foodies....especially hot-pot when it's cold outside.
Best to bring some extra friends & expect to eat Sloooooooowly.
The Extra Spicey hot pot was the best I've personally ever had (Better than Haidilao & Seapot).
Meats were ABUNDANTLY piled high.
Service was classy & quick.
All-you-can eat lunch was phenomenal albeit there was hardly any lunch rush on a Saturday!!.
I don't get that? .
Highly recommended.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 4, 2024
My friend was raving about Squares, but I really think there are much better options for AYCE hot pot in the DFW area. It's a really small space, and the buffet area is pretty sad. You can't order by yourself, so you constantly flag down the waiters. Their dessert options are similar to ones you can find at a $15 buffet. The broths are just okay, and the meat options are alright as well. A lot of food options require extra charges.
There's so many hot pot places in Plano now, and for the price of Squares, I guarantee you can find a better one with higher quality ingredients and broth.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Lyssa M.Dallas, TX292711Dec 19, 2023

Definitely one of my favorite hot pot spots in Dallas and definitely my favorite tomato soup base! It's so incredibly flavorful everything I put in there tasted absolutely delicious! Love that this place is AYCE too and I think the menu was pretty robust. The sauce bar was so so good too, so many options to make a great sauce! The service was really great too they were super patient with our party that had 2 young children and we bothered them a lot to which they responded super quickly as well! It was so good I took my mom here two days after my first visit!

The service is really great. Be aware they do not accept AMEX. Clean inside with tables appropriately spread out away from sauce and apps bar. The meat and seafood items were fresh so I don't really have any complaints. I would love to see a better apps and dessert section.

This place was amazing! For about $32.99 (not including tax), you get to indulge in the all you can eat menu. The menu has a ton of options to choose from.
At the end of our meal, we ordered about $200 worth of food between the 3 of us. If you are having a hard time deciding between a la carte or the all you can eat for $32.99, I would suggest you go with the all you can eat option!
Service was pretty quick! Someone was always available to fill up our water or refill our broth!
One of the downside of this was that you need to grab a server's attention to approve your order or refills via the iPad.
We arrived on Friday around 5:45 PM and there was no wait. The restaurant only takes reservations for parties larger than 6 people!Helpful 4Thanks 1Love this 5Oh no 0 - Nov 26, 2023
The broths here were very flavorful. We came on a Saturday for dinner and there was no wait for a table. All you can eat around $35/person. You order your items on an iPad the waitress come by to check off the items. Overall it was a good hot pot, I was hoping to see more vegetables options to the hot pot. They have a sauce bar, and a small deserts bar.

Service was a bit slow however it's often very busy so be patient! This is probably one of the best hot pot places I've ever tried. It's a bit pricey but it's definitely worth a try. All the meats were delicious and amazing quality. Moreover, the soups were so good and the oil and spice level of the soups are customizable to your preference! The pot also looks super cool lol, 10/10!

Good service, and price for AYCE for meat is not bad for the amount of food you get. The issues-- 1) you have to literally tell a server to order which kind of limits AYCE. 2) they have warnings plastered all over the wall about enforcing leftovers so we were much more careful. 3) some cuts of meat were good, but others were not. For example, the brisket was definitely dry/frozen, very poor meat quality. To each their own I suppose, but we were a bit let down.
Sauce bar was pretty solid though.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Christopher L.Dallas, TX1156137May 11, 2023
Holy cow. This place is freaking delicious.
First off, it's $32/person as of May 2023 for all you can eat.
The broth itself has a ton of flavor unlike other places that focus too much on the spice. However, they do have options for spice & numbing which is definitely new to me.
The sauce bar has a ton of options and the AYCE menu has a multitude of meats to choose from. When your broth runs low they come back to refill it for you which is a great gesture.
Service here is surprisingly very quick and attentive. My water never hit the bottom of the glass and I was always able to get ahold of a server.
Ambience is nice, and the furniture choices are interesting.
10/10 will always come back here to fulfill my hotpot cravings.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 1
