St David's is a pretty remote place being, as it is, the westernmost point of the British Isles. Not the sort of place you'd expect to find a top quality deli. But here it is. A top quality deli at the westernmost point of the British isles.
Manned (womanned?) by a dedicated group at the back of the shop who will knock you up a sandwich to go in minutes. Great local cheese counter. Lots of tasty pies, pasties, sausage rolls and scotch eggs. A couple of shelves of excellent white and red wines. And lots and lots of great quality bits and bobs from chocolates to pasta to dairy products. It's really well curated and the sort of place you'd expect to cost the earth. But it really doesn't. Very fair prices. A large baguette packed full of whatever you want will cost less than a fiver.
We go there every day when we're on holiday and take our booty down to Whitesands for a delicious packed lunch.
And when we're cooking, it's a great place to buy posh produce and a bottle of Pouilly Fume to go with the lobster or crab from down the road in Solva.
Insider tip. Go early. Lunchtime gets crowded and although they work quickly it will be a bit of a wait if you're getting a packed lunch.
This place is an absolute godsend if you like your food and wine. A real treat you can award yourself every day. Well, you are on holiday.

A great place to do some shopping for some special treats, plus wine and beer, besides some essentials for the store cupboard. They specialise in Welsh produce and there are some delicious local cheeses on offer. You can also buy freshly filled baguettes and rolls made to order. Friendly staff too, so altogether recommended.

I have been calling in to St. Davids's Food and Wine on a weekly basis for

over 2 years now. I just pickup a roll and a drink to take on my weekly

Pembrokeshire Coastal Path walk. Each time the FRESH filled roll is a pleasure

to enjoy.A far cry from the many tired and tasteless rolls/sandwiches I have

endured elsewhere. And always served with sincere

Pembrokeshire smiles from Sian and her charming staff.

A really good delicatessen, full of nicely chosen food and drink. Unfortunately, the day we were there, the line was so long for the counter, we could not get to see most of it and gave up our wait, opting for cakes, which were very tasty indeed. I did walk round to the front of the queue to peek at the cheeses and I look forward to my return when we might actually get to try some. And I hope that they manage to chivvy the staff to cope with queues. It didn't budge in all the time we were there.

My wife & I were staying locally for a holiday break & used the SDF & W regularly for all our essentials.
The quality of their food & wine is excellent served by most helpful & pleasant staff. The Deli counter is especially worth a visit with a wide range of local food of the highest quality.
Nothing was too much trouble & we would recommend to anyone staying in the St. Davids area.

We have been visiting St Davids for soome years, and have always stocked up at St Davids Food and Wine. Their range is fabulous, I am not sure how they fit it all in! The cheese and wine selection is superb, takeaway snacks have kept the children going through surfing and coasteering, and the service is always friendly and efficient.
This year we asked for something really special! Sian prepared canapes for a group of family and friends (about 35 of us). They were absolutely superb! the smoked salmon on rye were snapped up, goats cheese canapes loved by carnivores and vegetarians alike and the sausage rolls disappeared too quickly! The range of canapes was lovely, they were fresh and tantalising. Given that we had all had a large and generous lunch at Cwtch earlier in the day it is a tribute to St Davids Food and Wine that appetites were revived with such enthusiasm.
      Thanks for everything!
ps The Welsh whiskey and beer was also far too popular!
