St. John Chimney Sweeps

I would give 100+ stars if I could. Every single person my family came in contact with at St. John Chimney was outstanding. The communication was flawless, the accommodation was incredible and the service was even better. They are the nicest guys! They replaced our fireplace and chimney so efficiently and the finished product is SO nice. If you are ever in need of chimney services my family and I will always recommend St John Chimney!!!!

Let's just say they gave no mention when asking for an estimate that they would not fix my chimney for over 6 months plus the estimate cost $150 and they gave a price that was so high nobody would use them. Essentially they didn't want to do the work so they pushed back the repair date and jacked up the price. Waste of $150. They never called after taking my money, just sent the ridiculous estimate. Typical New Jersey unethical business practices.

Needed our fireplace cleaned and checked, came into our house, accomplished the task, and left their workplace as clean as they found it initially. Was impressed.

This guys are the epitome of customer service! I called at 8 pm in the evening expecting to get a voice mail and they actually answered the phone! We talked about my fireplace issue for a hour and they came out the next day to inspect. They got to the house on time, were clean, efficient and gave me reasonable and affordable options!! I would recommend these company without hesitation!!!

Hiring St John Chimney Sweeps was a great experience. I contacted them thru their website. They called me back the next day to schedule an appointment. On the day of the appointment, an earlier slot opened and they called to see if I they could come earlier (which I took). I hired them to inspect/sweep my chimney but since they were early, I asked if they performed dryer vent cleaning too. I didn't see that service on the website but I'm sure I just missed it. They was able to accommodate and my dryer is working like a champ. $350 total for both services. I don't how it compares to other companies prices because I didn't shop around but I was extremely pleased with their service and professionalism. I will be using their service for for future cleanings. Thank you!

Called to find out about whether they could assist with a fireplace inspection and was met with a rude and condescending attitude that basically told me they couldn't help and to read the manual and figure it out. Not a good or professional way to talk to potential customers.

I had a positive experience and found them helpful and responsive. I will do business with them again.

We use them annually for chimney repairs, maintenance and cleaning. They are very responsive, always very accommodating with their schedule, provide thorough inspections with pictures. Overall great experience every time and I would highly recommend them to everyone. -Aimee Roman

We used St John Chimney Sweeps for a home inspection recently. The gentlemen that came out were very professional and helpful in explaining what they saw and what was significant. They were efficient and very thorough in their inspection.
