Luna Nail Bar is the current name.
Convenient location to our hotel, friendly staff, and they did great work for a great price.
If you're visiting and need nail work, I highly recommend this place. It's also in a plaza with quite a few other things, you could accomplish a bunch of things without traveling any further.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Vera W.Alexandria, VA151Sep 14, 2017
As another reviewer shared on the tip, this place is now called FON Nails.
My friend and I went to get our mani and pedi done and found this place near our hotel. The ladies there were very friendly, quick and professional. They didn't chat incessantly among themselves like the people from other places I've been, and did a fantastic job. They're gentle and meticulous. The salon was spacious and clean. We went on the mani/pedi Tuesday, so it was $25 for both. I had gel nails on before so it was $5 extra to take them off.
Overall, we were both satisfied and would come back if we are ever in the area again.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 285170195Jun 24, 2019
FYI - their name is now FON Nails. They are awesome! Mondays and Tuesdays are $25 mani/pedi days, which was awesome and fit within my budget well. There wasn't a wait when I walked in and so as soon as I made a choice in nail polish, I was taken to the pedicure chairs. The water wasn't too hot, but I would have liked it hotter and I should have said something, so I can't complain about them for that. I have had an exhausting couple of weeks and had some tv show episodes downloaded on my phone and was able to stick my earbuds in and relax. The lady who did my mani/pedi was awesome and mentioned how tired I looked and was awesome to let me be. She massaged my legs with some kind of scrub and it felt amazing! When she moved over to do my manicure she also massaged my arms a bit. I regret that I didn't get her name because she was awesome. With their price, I can definitely get a mani/pedi more frequently. I highly recommend FON Nails!

They did a good job, but to my surprise, they added $2 to their already 20 percent tip. Pretty shady if you ask me.

As others mentioned, this is now called Fon Nails. We had mani/pedis on a Tuesday for their special. Service was friendly, professional, and great quality. I wish we lived closer, we'd be here all the time!

After getting a Subway sandwich after a Dr. Appt., I noticed the sign at this place advertising Mon./Tues mani-pedis for $25. I decided to give them a try. I was quite impressed! Not rushed. Good job! I have returned twice and I'm still happy.

One of my favorites. I get my regular chair with my mani pedi. Every couple of months. The TV has a animals movie so it's different every time, mobiles, fish, etc... I enjoy it much better than regular TV. It helps me relax better. Just kind of unplug from the world and enjoy my 75-80 minutes. I get the wax on my pedi and have the regular pedi on the chair, not the table. I tip generously. I always call ahead to see if they have time and then head over if space is available. There are usually a few customers in the shop. It a few times they have had space so I schedule something for later in the week. Never been cut, always treated well. Clean place. Quiet space. Relax and enjoy.

I wanted a mani/pedi today, but all salons were booked and I was tired of my regular walk-in spot that is cheap and fast but sloppy and they never ask for or listen to my requests. After dropping into Starbucks I saw Stella's. The price was similar to my regular spot with pedi's being $21 and combo mani/pedi $30 (they run a Mon/Tues special of $25 for both). There was a man and a woman working today, but they could have used another person since they had to tell some people there would be an hour wait (they came back, which makes me think they know this place is worth it).
The man that worked on both my feet and hands was fantastic! I only did the basics, but he spent so much time and took so much care in his work that it felt like the upgraded selection. Unlike the other place I had been wasting my time and money with, he asked me how I wanted everything shaped and was accommodating even after I initially said "squared" nails and then decided I liked rounded better. He made the tiniest mistake and re-did the whole nail and didn't just ignore it or throw on more polish on top to try to cover it up.
The only tip I have is to make sure you have a good amount of time on your hands because they will not do a sloppy rush job just to get people in and out in a hurry. I was there for over an hour, but that's a good thing. I was as happy as if I had dropped double the money at a fancier spot, and I am glad to have found a NEW regular spot!Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
