Sterling Dental Center

I am a new patient at the Sterling Dental Center. I am 63 years old, 300 pounds, 6'3" tall, strong as a bull, and yet I am scared of dentists. These people treated me with professionalism, care, and compassion. I highly recommend this practice.

I got a couple fillings last summer:
I have never had fillings chip and fall out ever. I'm terrified to eat because pieces of fillings keep falling out.
It's not stop pain and non top dentist appointments to get everything fixed every time a piece falls out.

I'm an old broken (Literally) cop who took a fall a busted out my top front teeth. Doc Bursik examined me and then explained my options fully. He had me fixed up in short order. He's a dentist I actually enjoy going to. If I even let out a peep in the chair (Which is just due to the discomfort of lying there) he stops what he's doing and asks if he's causing any discomfort. I've never had another dentist stop during procedures stop and ask me if I'm doing okay.

All my life, I've not had issues with my teeth; so when I had a tooth break, I was very concern & anxious as to what would be done to correct it. I'm extremely needle phobic, so the very thought of having injections in my mouth made me cringe. I got a message prior to my visit from the office asking if I had any concerns to let them know. I responded to them about my phobia. When I got there, they couldn't have been more kind and compassionate to me.
Dr. Bursick was wonderful and quickly put me at ease. Through every step of my procedures he explained what he was doing and why. I really appreciated this, and it put me very much at ease. I was astonished that my time in the chair flew by without any pounding of heart or feeling I needed to bolt for the door. After this experience, I don't believe I'll have any anxiety about making dental appointments again.
The staff and assistants are warm, friendly & welcoming. Just don't forget to put your face mask back on when you leave the chair.. lol
All in all, this is a two thumbs up practice!

The Doctor is very friendly and he's making sure you're comfortable with his job
The office is very clean and high tech which is I love the most. The laser (I forgot the name) is the best it's cutting down time and it doesn't hurt you at all you don't hear the drilling noise anymore

I had the worst experience at this place. They're sitting there just rip people off. I had a filling on my front tooth which lasted only 12 days. I called them and asked them if they could fix it and if I had to pay. They said I don't have to pay because I had already paid for the procedure. But when I went there, the Dr said that they can't do it because it was deep and they'll have to put a cap on for which they wanted to charge me an arm and a leg. Highly unprofessional and an unpleasant experience. I would give them a half star it was available

Be aware of a "prepayment agreement" they claim you have signed.

I was told by the front desk lady "Sharon", who is the wife of the dentist, that I have signed an agreement saying I agreed to prepay the out of pocket share of my bill "upfront" rather than wait until the insurance company settles it first. When I asked Sharon to show me the "agreement" that I have signed, do you know what Sharon replied? She said "Since you don't trust me, we should not continue this business relationship". When I asked why don't you just show me the paper I have signed to make me to trust you, Sharon told me she is too busy to find it for me. Then, I told Sharon, I will have to post a review about your bluffing me until you send me the so called "prepayment agreement" you claimed that I have signed. She is still too busy to find it by now.

This review is more for the customer service attitude than for the actual service at the Sterling Dental Center. I am a brand new customer. After signing a bunch of paper work and getting a round of x-ray, I was told I need a deep clean, and I am required to pay for it upfront. I expressed my concern about the prepayment because I might eventually overpay my share and forget the "credits" in their account after the insurance company negotiating their price .

Long story short, eventually I showed my good faith by offering two options for Sharon to pick: 1) pay the full bill upfront as Sharon preferred; 2) pay some deposit as I preferred to hold my appointment. Then Sharon told me I have signed the agreement of prepayment which I have not seen as of now.

Truly one of the best dental experiences I've ever had. I was putting off going to the dentist and my husband encouraged me to see Dr. Bursich. I'm glad I went! Everything about the office from the atmosphere to the staff to the cleaning was great. I was continually asked if I was doing okay and given updates. I would encourage everyone to go here. A family business that treats you like family.

To be clear about my previous review, I'm not certain they are scientology-based. I just know that the baggie with toothpaste, floss, etc., in it also had a scientology booklet in it, and there was no previous mention of scientology while I was there or in their marketing material.

BEST DENTIST EXPERIENCE EVER! Before even seeing Dr. Bursich, the staff made sure I was completely comfortable and was extremely clear on everything they would be doing.

During the examination, they would point things out to me and informed me about what they were actually going to do before doing it.

Even my follow up appointments were amazing - they made sure I wasn't in pain during the procedures and stopped a few times just to make sure I was comfortable.

I highly recommend Dr. Bursich and his staff for your next dental visit, they are highly knowledgable, extremely friendly, and are definitely there to help you out.
