Very responsive and knowledgeable! The Office people were very helpful and Wally our repair professional even called me to discuss our refrigerator issue and gave me trouble shooting advice.

GE Appliance said this company was their third party repair person to call. They refused to return my phone calls requesting a repair of my dishwasher; GE sent the part to my house and the job is ready to go. No response over the last 5 weeks.

We apologize that you believe we've ignored your needs. However, we have no record of receiving any phone calls or messages from you. We are not authorized servicers for GE, though we work on the brand. We do not provide any warranty work at all. If you were given our name, it would've been by mistake. Also, we do not install parts provided by another entity. We purchase our own parts and warranty them for the period of time that the manufacturer does. Perhaps you called another company? Our messages are promptly returned the same day. If you'd like to discuss this with us further, please feel free to call our office Monday through Friday 7am-4pm at (520) 304-4672.

This company was recommended to me by a friend. My dad's dryer would only run for 3 minutes then it would shut off. I called and got an appt and was told there was a $75 diagnostic fee. I was fine with that.
A service person came out, ran tests and concluded the duct needed cleaning, which they don't do. Total bill? $175

We apologize that you are not satisfied with our services. We are an appliance repair company and fix appliances and cleaning ducts in the home is not a service we provide. We couldn't have known that your ducts needed cleaning without coming out to look at the dryer 1st. It's not uncommon for a problem that has nothing to do with an appliance directly to cause an appliance to have a problem. Our service call of $75 is explained before we come out as a fee for a licensed and insured technician to provide a diagnosis. We can certainly take a look at your invoice to see why you were charged $175 and if you were overcharged, we are happy to refund any overpayment you made. We would need more information in order to make a determination. If you'd call the office Monday after 7am and provide the service date and the 1st & last name on the invoice, we're more than happy to make things right. Our companies service model certainly is not the way you've depicted it. Please ask for Michelle and reference this review if you'd like to resolve this.

My second time hiring Steve Martin Appliance and I'm just as satisfied. This is a solid, reliable small business.

I hate to leave negative reviews, but I'm left with no choice. I was charged approximately 450 for a fridge repair and it's still warm, but Steve said I am on my own. They replaced 2 parts but accomplished nothing. Now he says he tried everything and they don't guarantee there work, if they fix it fine but if not too bad. Well I owned 8 businesses in Tucson when I was younger and I never treated my customers like that. I know he's frustrated, his team were here 4 times, but obviously they didn't isolate the issue. It's only 5 years old and the freezer works fine, ice machine is fine, just the controls that send cold air into the fridge is inop. But I have been told too bad and if he refunded me he would be working for free for a week! So, it's just a roll of the dice at Steven Martin Appliance repair. You either do stand behind your work or you don't, Steve doesn't period. Buyer beware. Oh yeah, something he said bothers me....(.I was a mechanic in the Army,) he said sometimes you can't fix things! Really? So you try a couple of times and then quit?

Its unfortunate that you felt you needed to leave a negative review. 1st of all, we do warranty all.of our work. There are circumstances when limited information is unavailable during diagnosis and the solution to the problem is unclear at that time. As with you, we give the customer the choice to take the most likely path forward or they can choose a complete refund. In these cases, we can not guarantee a solution that is unclear. You were told by Steve himself on the last 2 visits that while he was there as well as when our other technician was there, all of the refrigerator components worked properly and there were no apparent failures. Obviously you've been experiencing intermittent warm temperatures. That is the reason you called for service. You proved this by showing us the digital thermometer with the high and low temps recorded. It was made very clear to you that the refrigerator had passed all diagnostics and all functions were working as designed at that time. After 1st trying the temp sensor with no success, Steve came to the conclusion that there is either a short in the wiring harness, which is inaccessible and unrepairable, or a control board that is failing intermittently without showing any fail codes. At that time you were given the choice of getting the money you'd paid back in full or putting that money towards a control board that he told you may or may not solve the problem. It was discussed at length with you and you called the office and said you were willing to take that risk. Before you signed the invoice, Steve discussed once more and pointed out his writing stating no guarantee that this will fix the problem & you signed the invoice after the repair was competed. You called the office last Thursday and left a message that things weren't working. You were called back that same day and a message was left. Steve then called you the following morning and left you a message to discuss things with you. You haven't called back until today and now Steve is out of town. Please refer to the bottom portion of your invoice with the technician Steve's note and your signature. We'd be happy to send you another copy of your invoice that you signed agreeing to the repair and understanding the risk if you'd like. It's understandable that your frustrated, however, it is not our company that is to blame. We did not manufacture the refrigerator and we did our best to help you. If you'd like Steve to call you to discuss this further, please call the office and they'll send a message to Steve.

Called on Monday for a refrigerator repair. They were out on Tuesday and if course the fridge didn't make the sound while Wally was here. Started making the noise again and I called them back. Wally was out Wednesday morning and was able to figure out that it was a fan motor. The part is on backorder which is not their fault. Very professional and courteous. Friendly as well. We will be calling them again! Thanks for a job well done!

I had Steve Martin appliance repair replace a seal around my washer. The service man was extremely nice and did an outstanding job. He took around 45 minutes to fix the washer. He came to the job site without the seal gasket. I had one, which I picked up, just in case he did not have one. The cost to replace this part was very excessive to me. The charge was $225 for a 45 minute repair. I found this price to be excessive and because of this overcharge, I recommend searching for other repair shops and ask directly what the charge would be before having them sent out. I would not recommend Steve Martin appliance repair before first asking for an estimate.

We do have estimates for exact repairs upon request. We always prefer that the diagnosis is provided by a qualified technician so that our estimate given is accurate. We believe that our pricing is very fair & competitive. We charge a flat rate per job based on a nationally recognized flat rate labor for for appliance repair and not by the hour. If you can provide us with a written estimate by a licensed & insured appliance repair company, we would be happy to meet or beat their price & refund you the difference if warranted. If you'd like to discuss this further, please feel free to call the office Monday through Friday 7am-4pm at (520) 304-4672 and ask to speak with Steve or Michelle & reference this conversation.

I just wanted all to know that I used Steve Martin Appliance Repair for the first time, but it will not be the last. Very Satisfied with Ron, who was the service tech that worked on my oven, stovetop and was pleasantly surprised at how thorough he was, and how he just didn't tell me that I needed something that I did not. He carefully checked out the oven and found a frayed wire that probably a mouse had chewed through and caused my problem. I will recommend this company Steve Martin to my friends and neighbors . Thank you Ron for such a great job. Mal Lav

Eze was a great guy, professional and and fast! I would do 4.5, only because I wasn't aware there would be a labor fee, and I know everyone deserves to be paid for their job but because I was initially told service fee was $115- and if no parts and under hour there be no extra charge- and seeing reviews (All reviews) I see this is a reoccurring issue- and they did honor that it the end, I think their totally honest but need to let us know that there will always be a labor fee on top of service fee. And they did give me that initial quote of $115 -- after I complained with $215 charge- he was here 30-45 minutes and noticed I had not replaced a plastic piece in drain (you tube said nothing about piece and I thought it was a Tupperware piece) so he did that and put it back into counter- and their flat fee for that was extra $100, for labor and I freaked cuz $ is tight since family death, but Eze called office and they honored the initial $115 quote- I will use them again, I will just be prepared for labor fee
