Sorry to be moving on from my artist studio building. I LOVED my space, being surrounded by creative people, and, the price and location couldn't be beat.

Great long term parking indoor facility. They have outlets to connect a battery/trickle charger but you have to bring your own.

I had two different experiences. When booking the garage space everything went well and I got to deal with extremely nice and cordial people.

Unfortunately when I went to drop off my car (the Friday of memorial weekend) the code they had given me to access the facility did not work. I got there right after closing time (I was given 24 hr access to the facility) so nobody was at the office.
I immediately called customer service to have somebody help me out but they were not able to contact the on call manager. This entire process took about 3 hours of me calling every 15 minutes the customer service with them telling me that they still couldn't reach the manager. I was leaving town in the early morning so I had to access the garage.
Fortunately enough after 3 hours a nice man happened to pull in and allowed me to get in using his code.

Safe to say it was a frustrating situation and I only heard back from the manager the Tuesday after when she got back to work.

I believe this was an unfortunate and rare situation but they need to know that if they give 24 hour access to a facility there should be a 24/7 on call assistance to avoid losing customers.

These guys are amazing. I rent both a parking space and a unit from them. The sites are clean and well taken care of. The staff could not be more accommodating and friendly. The prices are reasonable and the location is very accessible.

We are renting the band storage space at Storexpress in Etna. We rented a 14x15 space to share between two bands for a very competitve rate compared to other places around Pittsburgh.

When I first contacted Storexpress I spoke with Giovanni, and continued to work with him through the process. We were looking at 3 different spaces around the city, although between all of us, this was the only one we hadn't practiced in previously. Any musician in Pittsburgh who's used rented storage knows, most of them are deplorable and your equipment is very likely to be stolen or ruined by water. I personally used the Storexpress Southside before because I knew it was clean, dry, climate controlled, and SECURE!

Well Etna is even better than Southside. The band rehearsal facility is brand new, and separate from the normal storage... its situated very nicely between a big warehouse and the highway, and isnt even visible from the main road. No one would know it was band storage space unless they personally rented there. The floors are finished linolium and the walls are nice painted drywall, and the units have A/C and heating. I cant mention how it fairs in the summer, but its February and been in single digits recently and our space is always happily warm.

There are many other bands in the space and from what I can tell everyone really likes it as much as we do. Between both our bands, this is by far the best practice spot in Pittsburgh compared to any other rentable self-storage. Its also fairly convenient to get to from downtown or Lawrenceville, where most of us are from
