Strand Pharmacy

Nice, family owned local business. Great prices. Quick service, they will never keep you waiting long for a prescription like the Rite Aid down the block (or any chain pharmacies really). Added bonus being that they all seem to be generally kind people (in our own NYC way), looking out for their neighbors.

Why go to the corporate giants that take your money and buy mansions in the Hamptons. Buy local and support your neighbors.

Very poor service. Another gentleman and I were on line while the cashier was on the phone for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile there were 2 other guys working there who were just walking around devoid of any purpose.

Finally when it was my turn, I drop off my UPS package and ask for a receipt, only to be told "oh sorry I already scanned it in I can't".
I literally asked 2 guys there to print a receipt of an important package and they totally disregarded my simple request. When i asked him if he thought that was ok he replied, "I do this to customers all the time". Wow. The other guys just stood there stone faced.

For a small chain pharmacy you would think they'd be a bit more attentive, however the customer service was awful and I wouldn't recommend anyone come here.

I am not one to review anything as it is not my culture but this place is what I want the rest of every business in America to be. The guys that work here go above and beyond to help you out. I would give 10 stars if possible.

Super friendly people that can serve or your pharmaceutical needs. Pharmacy also doubles as a ship propose for FedEx so they pick up and travel packages which is great and convenient if you live in the bud. Plenty of parking and excellent service

This is by far the best pharmacy myself and family have ever used. They are very helpful and informative. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new pharmacist! Thank you so much for everything you do for our family!

I went in to drop off a couple of UPS packages, and none of the four employees inside were wearing a mask. Unacceptable in any type of business during COVID-19, much less a pharmacy. Imagine if you were in immune-compromised person who needed to pick up your prescription at this store. I will no longer be giving this pharmacy my business.

I went to Strand on Christmas Eve to pick up 2 at home rapid tests. I was getting really frustrated because every CVS/Walgreens were out of stock and I needed to take one before going to my relatives house for Christmas. I called Strand, and not only did they have them, they were nice enough to put 2 on the side for me, since I was a good 20 minutes away at the time. Super nice people, great to do business with, and will definitely be using them more often!

I first asked one guy behind the counter for a printing job. After he verbally agreed and I sent him an email, he seemed to have forgotten about my request and went on ahead to help the other customers who came after me.
His supervisor finally noticed me and helped me out. Good. But when I commented that his printing jobs are a bit on the expensive side (it's $1 per page), he simply retorted that "I can go somewhere else."
Finally, the guy didn't even bother to seal the package that I wanted them to mail out properly.
In the future, I will take the guy's advice an go somewhere else, not because of the charge, but because of the attitude.
