Strictly Hardwood

I recently moved to Utah and a coworker recommended Strictly Hardwood to remove my carpet and install 5" white oak hardwood. Russ and his crew were neat, professional and on time every morning. They also installed new hardwood stair treads and risers. They work fast and the work is very high quality. My wife and I are very satisfied and would highly recommend them. We didn't want to use prefinished flooring and are happy we went with the real thing! We decided on Nutmeg stain on the white oak.

Russell with Strictly Hardwood did such a beautiful job with our floors. He fit us in quickly and was very professional. He's a hard worker, very knowledgeable, and guarantees his work. Beautiful job for a great price.

An amazing experience from the first call through completion. Russell provides great communication and incredible workmanship. I called for a quote and got it same day. I explained I would not be ready for 6 weeks. He scheduled me and installed while I was out of town. I came home to floors that totally delighted me. Fair pricing, incredible workmanship. Russell and his team are top notch.

Russell is the sole proprietor and one of the best craftsman in finish carpentry that I've met. Russell does not cut corners, he does the job right the first time. We had strictly hardwood/Russell install sand and finish 4 inch red Oak hardwood in our home in Utah Valley despite the fact that we lived an hour away Russell had the wood delivered installed it sanded it and Applied multiple coats of oil base finished to the floor. We appreciated his work so much that we asked him to build us a custom handrail and a custom fireplace mantle out of glazed alder. We love them and are the envy of our block. I don't mind bragging about strictly hardwood/russell's work.

Strictly hardwood/Russell is simply the best at what he does/They do. He is often in high demand and can be challenging sometimes to fit into his schedule. It is worth the wait to get the job done the way you want it to be done. We love to show off our finish carpentry we will definitely use Strictly Hardwood/Russell for any future projects we need.

I would rate Russell a 0 if it would let me!!! Russell does not keep appointments or return phone calls.

15 years ago these guys redid my wood floors and they turned out great. We ripped out some of our carpets and decided to refinish the original wood floors.

I called and left a message on Russell's message machine to call me. He didn't call back. So that same night I called again and he answered. We schedule for him to come at 10 am the next day.

At 10:05 am he called and said he was stuck on a job. He wanted to reschedule for 12:30 - 1 pm. I said that would be fine. At 2 pm he still was not there. At 3 pm my husband called him and he didn't answer. My husband left a message to call us. To no surprise we never heard from Russell.

We called simply hardwood and that was the right choice! They are amazing and they show up!

Does a good job at a reasonable price. We were so pleased with his work on our first home that we had him do the hard wood floors on our second home.
