I don't feel like my son got the best care there went on a call with him. I overheard the staff in the background yelling at the children.

My experience Here was horrible all there was zero one on one therapy and when they brought us into the room for group therapy we just colored. We were only able to call our parents during designated call times like in a prison. The staff were overworked and underpaid and children were brought into solitary confinement for fighting back. We were also never allowed to go outside and we weren't allowed to do anything for most of the day I was thankfully only there for three days but it felt like an eternity in hell.

This place was terrible. People walking in circles around everyone not getting anything done. Came to talk to me about another patient not even realizing what the doctor ordered. It was a dead end just like every other route we have went for our loved one.

Worst hospital ever. Staff don't care if you have other medical issues and make you sit for hours in pain before getting you medication. Not patient centered or compassionate. Drive hours and wait several hours before treatment.

Our daughter was placed in Sun Behavior Health because she was suicidal. We can't thank the staff there enough. They were attentive and really seemed to care about our daughter. Asia and Ty were her favorite techs. The eight days she was in there gave her time to decompress from outside worries and her cell phone. We give 100% thumbs up!

They have a PPH program I highly recommend this program. It's a outpatient program from 9 to 3 I have a teenager and I was going to put him in the in/patient and a doctor at the facility heard our concerns and recommended that my son would do the PPH program and it literally changed my son's life and our entire families....The staff is absolutely amazing... I highly recommend this program..
if I was going to hospitalize my child I would try this program first!!!!!!!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Ernie W.Southwest Houston, Houston, TX034Jan 19, 2023
All staff quit. Someone jumped out of 3rd floor window after asking for help & being ignored. Staff sleep with patients. Little kids are not kept separate from aggressive patients nor adults. Older patients are not taken care of

My son is 16 years old. He had a 7 day stay at SUN Houston due to parental enrollment. The facility provided everything they promised and they went over my expectations . My son was allowed to use the telephone to contact me and I was allowed to contact him by phone each time I called. SUN Houston provided my son and I with an accurate diagnosis of my son's condition. I was particularly pleased with ALL the nursing staff that assisted my son and answered all of my questions. These are a group of people that displayed patience, kindness and had clear communication. I was very pleased with SUN Houston @ 7601 Fannin St in Houston, TX. I wanted to write this review because it is so easy to tear people down and complain, yet we don't do the opposite and say "thank you" and "I appreciate you". With that said, I am truly grateful for SUN Houston and THANK YOU!

Run like a business and no regard for patient or family. Very difficult to get a message to family hospitalized.
Get a call 2 pm that family had to be out by midnight like no one could have told me the day before.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
