From the moment I walked in the door the staff made me feel at ease with the recent dental trauma I am suffering with. I will be recommending them to anybody who needs emergency dental care even if it's just an X-ray to see if you're going to need more work done, which I do. When the staff cares, it makes the stress manageable. Thank you Sunrise Dental.

I recently needed same-day treatment, and thanks to my insurance company we found Dr. Kang of Sunrise Dental of Eugene who was able and willing to offer same-day walk-in services. I was running late from traffic, but the staff was very friendly and understanding, the entire experience was 5-star! The care was professional and I left the dental office very pleased to have received such great service, I think I might have just found my new dentist! Thank you!

I can't say enough about Dr. Kang and his team. I've had a lifelong fear of dentists, and the entire staff put me at ease from the moment I walked in the door. Amazing service, as painless as extracting a broken tooth can be, and the price was right.

One of the most gentle dental team my family has ever had... the staff is wonderful and I'm definitely a high anxiety dental patient. I highly recommend for families.

What a great surprise when I found out this place doesn't rob you blind after the insurance payment, in fact I have had no 'balance due'!
The Dentist has been great about explaining all options to me and a huge 'shout out' to Kim at the front desk; from day 1 she has made me feel like an old friend.

A 1 or 2 star is debatable. They don't get back with you if you ask questions about other options to the most expensive work they line up for you. If they're not getting top $$$ from you they blatantly ignore you. I'm now seeing another dentist and he couldn't find the SIX cavities Sunrise claimed I had, besides other $$$$ work I knew had to be done. And the dentist? Unimpressed. He didn't at all engage, behaved more like he should have been observing, like a student. I had to be the one who asked questions to things he should've outright initiated talking about. Overall, I didn't leave my 1st (and only) appt feeling like this was going to be a dentist & clinic I'd choose. It all felt kinda screwy. Even the dental hygienist, although friendly, skimped on the cleaning, openly telling me she wasn't going to floss (that's standard!), like it was a bother.

Later on, I came to find out Sunrise is a chain, aka corporate, which I've NEVER been satisfied with (I prefer private practitioners because they make better choices & decisions with the patient in mind, not ruled by some corporate cookie cutter format).

This also is a place you have to pull teeth (pun not intended) to get your information transferred to another dentist. Like I said, if it doesn't bring THEM money, you're of no interest to them.

Beware. The "dentist" didn't even numb both sides of my tooth before he "ripped" it out....even though I was raising my hand for him to stop because I could feel it. I would give -5 stars if I could.

Shannon, the cleaning hygienist, is a professional among top professionals. She has a wonderful chair-side manner: friendly, fun and very informative. She is efficient in her tasks. She gave me the best explanation and demonstration of flossing that I have had in my 38 year-history of cleanings, fillings and crowns. Thank you!
