Had a pretty iffy experience here. Mostly an issue with the main dentist, all the staff otherwise are great.
Went in for my appointment/check on my teeth but it took over an hour to even see the dentist, looked like the dentist overbooked themselves and it was really busy, him bouncing between patients, so after going over the cleaning plan we wanted to go with, I decided I'd reschedule a week out instead of that day to have a more dedicated spot like ANY other dentist I've been to, but the same thing repeated again, dentist didn't arrive until about an hour after my appointment started, the dental assistant was really kind, all the receptionists are wonderful, but the main dentist always seems in a rush and bothered, jabbed my sensitive gums full of 8 needles to get more numbing, which were extremely painful as the topical numbing had worn off by then, and then left me for a while to work on another patient. When he finally came over it was short-lived as some special client came through the door and he immediately left to go greet them and profusely thank them for their visit (I didn't even get a hello) the second they walked in and then began to work on them even though my appointment was an hour earlier and nothing had started yet.
The entire $700 cleaning took about 8-10 minutes, it was extremely rushed, he nearly drowned me a few times because he didn't want to waste a second to get the water out of my throat that was pooling up, I was struggling to breathe, and then got irritated when I nearly did drown and instinctually coughed the water up, and then zoomed off to another patient, just left me bleeding everywhere with a goody bag telling me to go rinse off in the bathroom, which someone was in for a fair bit. Couldn't even try to clean up the blood himself or hand me a paper towel even.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jessy B.Grand Prairie, TX66Nov 30, 2019
I wish they had an option for 10 stars id give 100. I can not tell you enough how amazing the Staff and Doctors are here. Not only do the doctors here serve their country (Both are veterans currently serving) they serve the community by providing top notch dentistry. My wife has an absolute melt down going to the Dentist. The Doctors not only made her feel calm ( for her ) in 47 years of her life she has never had a better dental experience. ( and she has had A LOT of work ). As I write this review I cant even find the words to show how amazing this place is. Reach out to me if you want to know more, do NOT sale yourself short and give them a shot at making your smile more amazing.

I brought my daughter kelsey in to get a bunch of work done and the staff were absolutely amazing. They sorted out kelseys insurance and were super helpful educating us on how to best use it to get the most out of her plan. Dr Singh is just over the top so good at what he does and has a very gentle approach to dentistry. My daughter has a lot of anxiety involved with going to the dentist and she had an amazing experience with Dr Singh even after spending half the day in his chair today. He has a top of the dental arts office with very specialized equipment that not too many dentists have (especially if you are considering implants). I was very impressed and so was my daughter. Just an amazing experience thank you so much Sunrise dental in silverdale and Dr Singh!

My review is based on experience I had 3 years ago. Have things changed since then? Possibly. Will I ever go back to find out? Absolutely not.
I chose Sunrise Dental because they had immediate appointments available and I needed cleaning done between my own appointments. Should have been a red flag #1...good dental facilities usually don't have several openings in one day.
Before my appointment, I got a call asking if I can come in earlier so that the dentist could catch a ferry. Again, I was seeing my own patients at the time. I ended up coming in at my appointed time.
The dentist, I believe of Indian descent, made it very clear that he was hoping I would come in early. What followed almost lead me to pursuing legal action...
The dentist looked at my teeth and told me that they "will give [him] nightmares" which was odd to me as I have cleaning every 6 months and aside from slight coffee stains, neither my hygienists nor previous dentists have mentioned my teeth as being horrible. He showed me a number of "cavities" that needed "immediate" attention. He looked at my insurance and designed a plan on how to use the most of my benefits...I had enough cavities to get to the max! Miracles!
The dentist numbed me, to my surprise and dismay as I told him I have to see my patient in an hour, and started cleaning my teeth with powered tools. He then boasted at his "work"...which my regular hygienist did in half the time with the ultrasonic and hand tools. He continued mocking the condition of my teeth as I sat with my entire mouth numbed. Then he probed my gums and presented me with an ~$800 bill.
When I asked why the price was so high, the dentist said he had to do deep cleaning due to the condition of my teeth.
I left the practice, cried in my car, and met with my patient while too numb to talk.
Since that day, I have seen 2 different dentists at 2 different practices with very high ratings (every 6 months). Do you know how many cavities I had to have fixed since my Sunrise visit? 1. Nowhere close to the number cited by the monster at Sunrise Dental.
I also learned about deep cleaning.
1. Deep cleaning is based on periodontal disease...which I do not and have not had. My gums were NOT probed prior to the cleaning and my roots were NOT scaled. All my dental files show a healthy gum depth.
2. Deep cleaning is usually done in sections. The monster did my entire mouth without providing patient education...fully knowing I had to go back to work.
Before you agree to the care plan designed by this company, be sure they are recommending what you need vs what would allow them to maximize their earnings. I had my first and last deep cleaning there without understanding what the dentist was doing and why. Deep cleaning was not indicated based on my periodontal health. I was told I had several cavities but 3 years later, none have been detected by my dentists aside from 1 failed filling.
The best way I can describe this place is aggressive, money-hungry, and unethical.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Josh G.Boston, MA56Apr 30, 2018
Friendly staff, quick and still gentle touch while working in my mouth. Overall great experience from paperwork to the actual work done on my mouth! Plus they're union and work well with union insurance which I loved #unionstrong

Amazing!!! Have used them for the last two years. Two cleanings a root canal and a new bridge later they have been great every experience. Only time I have sat more than 5 min in the waiting in the waiting room was my first visit due to having to fill out the new patient forms all other times I have have pretty much went straight back . Also love the fact that they are open past5 and weekends so I don't have to take off work

I haven't returned to the dentist in 2 years after a few visits to this dentist. I think I almost drowned during my cleaning, being completely serious. My Kids Dad had the same issues. Rough and expensive. Not going back.
