I ordered my shades mid February. Then the corona virus lock down. Atwater became a sanctuary city for businesses so Sunrise interiors should be open. I call and call, I email but no response. Now into mid May. They come out to measure, back in February that was all good, but customer service is now proving to be disappointing. I called Hunter Douglas to see if they had my order but they could not help. But Hunter Douglas is in business fabricating orders.
P.S. They did respond :) and said all is moving but slowly. At this point I wouldn't recommend them. Who doesn't stay in touch with their customers with orders for updates? Now I'm going to have to drive down and see if the business is even there. :(

We ordered shutters for my moms home on Nov 7, 2019 & as of today Jan 30, we still had not received the shutters or an install date few days ago. We had to cancel our order as we were having to chase the company and constantly email and call. They never called on their own to update us or returned calls. Few days ago we asked for a refund as they still didn't have an install or ship date & told us they show April!! FYI, The owner of this company has changed the name or will be changed to Better Blinds.
They never pick up the phone and never initiate the updates. We had purchased from Sunrise, with the previous owner Andy, who wAs so good and he installed some window treatments for me before he retired, but never will I order or recommend this company.
We placed a $7k order for my moms home with nothing in return. We were planning on using them for my home too. They take your money and never call you or update you & the secretary Stacy communicates poorly, you're constantly repeating things and going in circles & still she gets it wrong. We had told her initially what we wanted so she could send samples with the guy who was coming to measure. They came twice and each time didn't bring what we asked for. We had to go to the show room which we were never told about until weeks later, we could've done that to start off and not waste so my much time going back n forth.
These window treatments were to be installed before Christmas as we had guests coming. Still nothing and they didn't update by Christmas. We had to keep calling to no avail.
Finally a few days ago, I asked to speak with the owner. He should have called on his own to update us after 8 weeks. He didn't know the install or ship date either except they show April. Wow! we requested to get a refund because 13 weeks is too long to wait for shutters & we would have to wait another few months likely! Insane! He mentioned it was non-refundable, which is such an odd thing to mention when you haven't even given us a product or date for install and it's 3 months in! We were told no more than 6 weeks. That, to me, sounded ridiculous to say.
Initially, we wanted Hunter Douglas. Don, the owner told us Hunter Douglas was bought out and persuaded us to order Norman. Well Norman is from China so it takes longer to arrive. Don knew that we wanted them by a certain time, why would you recommend we order from there? Probably cheaper for them, so they make more money --instead of looking out for the customer he did what was better for him. Hunter Douglas is based in California we were told by another reputable business, so we can get the treatments in 4 weeks, which is what we ordered.
I've called around and many places say there aren't any 13 week hold ups for either company. They can have the shutters in 4 weeks, if we did Norman it's longer 8-10 weeks now, but not 13 weeks, so unsure what the hold up was! &if they knew of the delay they could've updated us and told us they will order hunter Douglas, but we got nothing just a lot of headache chasing calling emailing.
We got our money back now, so we don't have to chase them anymore. They didn't give us the credit card fee they charged us, which was almost $200!After 3 months of holding on to my moms money with nothing to show for it, they should have given that back plus more. We had to go all the way to Atwater twice during this order & they came to our house like 3 times because they kept bringing the wrong items, and we got nothing n return. Great customer service, quality work. We had a blind that was ripped and didn't notice until a week later after they were installed. Sunrise contacted manufacturer and we got another installed quickly.

No detail is too small or too insignificant for them to attend to. Andy, their extremely talented associate, is tireless in making sure EVERY detail is exact and every fit precise. This is a top-drawer business that stands solidly behind their outstanding products and craftsmanship. I wouldn't even consider another company for window/door treatments & solutions.

Great company with attention to detail. Had a lot of large windows and a sliding door that needed new coverings. The first appointment to discuss options was great and there was no pressure. There was guidance but also lots of listening to what I was looking for. Good followup. Installation was great. Price seemed reasonable. I'd highly recommend and hope to use them again as we gradually switch out window coverings through the house. A note, I'd tried to do some custom made coverings through Lowes but the house windows are just a bit quirky and though it works out, working with sunrise was wayyyy less stressful and the result was better.
