I'm giving this place 5 stars based on my many years of coming here. In my 30's My oral hygiene was horrendous when I first came, my knowledge was lacking in how to care for my mouth as well as other health issues. They were not judgmental and in fact they took their time to explain and educate me. I'm 35 now and still on the road to get my mouth healthy.
Dental care is expensive, even with insurance. There's no getting around that aspect so rating a place based on what they charge doesn't make sense. But like I said this is MY experience. Like reading a book cover, you won't know what to expect until you read it. You won't know how YOU feel about this place until you go yourself.

Omg they're so cute here!!! Front desk staff amazing!!! Dental assistants amazing!!! Dentist amazing!!! Everyone is so nice. And they truly aren't trying to just get your money. They're very caring and understanding. I found my new dentist!!!

Front office staff great and Emily the hygienist was wonderful. I haven't had any work done by dentist yet, so no comments there.

I was a patient here for the past 2 years and trusted Dr. Meera Narasimhan without question. However, after a recent incident, that trust has been broken and I would not be comfortable with Dr. Meera performing any dental procedures on me and having my best interest in mind. There is no misunderstanding on what transpired and I can only hope it was an isolated incident. As good of an experience I've had with the other staff and dental hygienist, I will not be returning to this office.

I've never been a fan of the dentist but after Sunshine Family Dental was able to get me in quickly to reattach my crown that fell out from my previous dentist and the cleaning i just had, i can say i'm impressed. Cleaning and communication was very thorough. Thank you.

I've been to Sunshine twice, and both experiences were very good. Emily is a gentle but effective hygienist, and Dr. Narasimhan is thoughtful and caring. The front desk staff are friendly and competent.

I love Sunshine Family Dental. I am a patient for the past 10 years and probably longer.
I'm always greeted with big smile. The front desk girls are always polite and helpful. Each time I get 100% service and also I feel like I'm a part of "Sunshine Family". All the doctors are very professional and super awesome! I would recommend Sunshine Family dental to anyone seeking dental care!!!!

I love my dentist, Dr. Meera. She is kind and thorough & knowledgeable. It's the first practice I look forward going to the dentist. Which is something I never thought I'd say!

As a new patient for a TMJ evaluation the information I got helped me make great decision for my life. As a singer and flutist it is devastating to know how advanced my issue was. My old dentist even gave me a guard that made my TMJ worse. and in February, 2021, I was told to wear the wrong night guard 24-7 unless eating actually made my TMJ problem worse and I have not eaten anything but well done overcooked foods, very soft for almost 3 years now.
So Last night I was not wearing my old guard which I paid well over $400.00 in 2016 from a different dentist in Bloomingdale. For the 1st time in years, my ears were not ringing this morning. Still eating 2 protein shakes per day for nutrition but have not had the TMJ treated yet. I am happy to find someone not downtown to help me with my TMJ problem.
