Sunshine Nails

They are already starting to get stuck on my hair, which is the biggest pet peeve of mine. I'm going to have to get them redone already and it's only been a couple days, but this was expected when she painted on top of my cuticle. I got some thick ones ladies.

MOST of the nail techs perform decent work, but it just depends on if they plan on rushing your service or not.

However, the customer service is always poor (except for maybe two women). One of the owners (a taller, skinner woman) has a nasty attitude and I have seen her ignore clients as they walk in and provide any type of acknowledgment or greeting.

This same woman does not ask if you like your nails after shaping and clearly has a problem if you ask her to adjust something that you do not like. However, her daughter is lovely and always a pleasure.

I only recommend going here as a last resort.

I would not recommend this nail salon. The nail tech use a shaver on my feet and left a gash on my heel of my foot. There was an argument between the two technicians and it was utterly unprofessional that they would argue for 30 minutes in-front of their customers.

Van has been doing my nails over 7 years now and she is the best. Fast and good work. I will definitely keep going as long as I can get an appointment.

I moved to RVA a little over a year ago, and after trying a few other shops around town, this is definitely my favorite place! I've always been extremely happy with their work and pricing. They provide quality work and are very quick. They always understand exactly what I'm looking for and deliver a great experience. I've had acrylics removed, spa pedicures, gel polish manicures, pink and white acrylics and acrylic fill with gel polish. The shape, length and quality are always excellent - always exactly what I want - no matter who is helping me. I highly recommend this shop. One thing to keep in mind is that it can get busy with walk-ins after 5pm on weeknights.

Made and appointment a week ago for 5:00 and by 6:30 still had not got our nails done. We sat with our feet in water and for about 45 minutes so my daughter had a class at 7:00 and there was no service. People without appointments were being taken so we got up and walked out.

I have been in here quite a few times now. I have noticed that the service can be somewhat slow. Also, they tend to be out of colors for nail polish and low on many others. They can be somewhat hateful as well.

Very disappointed. Can in to get SNS or dipping which is natural product. This lady put acrylic product on my hands. They have no clue on what they are doing when it comes to natural product. And to top it off she got a attitude when I started asking questions on what she was doing. They only been doing natural SNS or dipping for 2 weeks. They need to go take a class on doing and applying natural products.

Been coming here for a while. Simply disgusted with the lack of professionalism and regard for people and their time. Waited for a staff member for over an hour and then was told they have another appointment coming in and I was asked to come back another time. Party of 4 white women came in and was immediately seen in front of black patrons waiting. Hispanic women was rushed in and out as well. Disgusting.. will not be back.

Went for a pedicure and dip powder manicure. The service was good but I'm used to a certain standard and the finished product left much to desired. I have paint on the skin of my toes and my powder manicure looks uneven and thick. If you want a regular manicure and pedicure I think it's ok to go here. Anything else you probably want to go somewhere with more experienced technicians. I will not be going here again.
