Point and Wall now offer 80lb washers as well as three 60 pound washers plus 40, 30 and 20 pound Dexter washers! We have Free Pickup & Delivery for our Wash, Dry & Fold services; a real time saver for our busiest Commercial and Retail customers. Different Than The Others; we specialize and take great pride in our custom Wash, Dry and Fold Service. Not sure how to handle a particular item - Our attendants have many years of experience and will advise! WDF includes all collared shirts, ladies blouses, dresses, dress pants, jackets and all returned on hangers. We clean our equipment and store daily to ensure your clothes come out their best! All clothes, towels, and bedding are washed, dried, folded, put in plastic bags and/or hung on hangers. It is a real time saver for the busy professional or homemaker. We also offer drop-off Dry Cleaning service. Bring in your laundry and then pick it up the same or next day for early-bird customers (dry cleaning is typically a 3 day turnaround). That's all the work you have to do. We do the rest.

**** updates review below***Do not go here if you have a dog, I had been going here for years and was told dog hair no problem well I had went to drop off my clothes like I had every other tome and was told that there was a backup and couldn't get them done at that time so I decided to wait and come back in three or 4 days I dropped them off and when I called to check on the status of them I was given an attitude on the phone and was told my clothes will be ready when they are done and that my business was no longer welcomed there. I was charged an extra 25.00 for my clothes because they broke a machine. I paid over 70 for my clothes and then I was charged for a machine that broke I will tell everyone I know not to do their business there from my condo.
Update: After a misunderstanding by the staff, and speaking to the owner of the establishment and we had come to an understanding. Ron (the owner) is very helpful and understanding and had restored my trust in this business. Alexa (employee) is wonderful and happy to help go above and beyond for her work and patrons she also takes pride in what she does. Staff is helpful, nice and available. The facility was clean and has what you need available if you forget anything.

We have a summer rental property here in Point Pleasant Beach and have been using this laundromat for years, with 4 houses full of bedrooms we have a lot of linens that need to be washed every week. They have always done a fantastic job. We love Kristen, she is always there on Sunday when we bring our stuff in to get done and she takes really good care of our items! More recently, we've also started t bring down clothes for wash and fold service as well as washing on our from time to time.
No denying that the building is a little run down, but the washers and dryers are newer and the service is always fantastic! We are excited to see what the new owner has in store for the place!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Thanks Darla for the review. We are big believers in continuous improvement and the finest Customer Service possible. Kristen is the best! I'm working with the property manager to improve the building; he will be updating the façade once our new Surf Suds sign is ready.
On the inside we are committed to continuous improvement! New washers and aesthetic improvements (bathroom update is first) are on their way!

Cleaner facility, but costs a bit more than other laundromats in the area. I've tried to drop off my laundry three times, but the first two times I was told it would take 2 days and the third time I had a duvet cover and was told that it would be the cost of the weight PLUS $14. I pointed out that it was just two sheets sewn together and it would all fit in one machine just like I had a set of sheets in there, but was told that it was policy. I generally drop off my laundry half of the time and do it myself the other half. I don't mind paying extra for the service and I don't mind tipping when I pick it up. I do mind arbitrary and exorbitant fees. I may come here to do it myself, but I'll be looking for a new place to get drop off service.

First off, thanks for the feedback!
We strive to be the very best laundromat at the shore and we charge competitive prices for our premium service.
We provide 24 hour turnaround almost all the time so I am surprised at you being quoted 2 days this time of year. Can you tell me when that happened please?
Secondly, we don’t charge arbitrary fees. We have a Point of Sale system with all the prices programmed.
Duvet covers are priced separately because they are typically finer bedding so we handle more carefully.
I just spoke with the attendant who told me that, because you said she could wash the DC with the other laundry, she offered to do the Duvet Cover for no extra charge. She was planning to discuss the policy with me because your request made sense to her.

WOW! That's all I can say about this laundromat that is under new ownership. The place was clean and the owner personally picked up my KING Sized comforter. It came out beautiful!

I've tried a few laundromats in the area and they don't compare to Surf Suds. It's very clean (which is most important to me) and comfortable with free WiFi. Super friendly staff, and I've had zero problems or complaints since going there for the past 8 months or so. Great find.

This is by far the BEST Laundromat I've ever been to! I always have concerns when going to a laundromat, but this one is incredibly clean and beautiful! The machines are super fast and the staff is so helpful! I highly recommend this place!

Just went to Surf Suds for the first time since they changed owners. By far the best laundromat on the jersey shore! The cleanest facilities and the friendliest staff. I've lived in the area for 22 years and I will never go anywhere else. Thank you Surf Suds for your amazing services!

First time at Jan's ( Surf Suds). Called 6:00 am, asked if they were open for wash dry fold, fleece sheets, blanket, DOWN comforter. Not only did Cathy take care of my bedding, the down comforter is like new. I recommend Jan's. Thank you

They ruined a day bed cover that was in perfect condition and the owner would not own up to the mistake. Would not recommend!!!!!!

We make every effort to please our customers and to own up to any mistakes. I told Debra that I would refund her money assuming the situation was as she described it.
I researched this situation thoroughly; discussed with Debra, then with my attendants, next I reviewed the situation with a trusted colleague (Dry Cleaning owner) and, finally, showed the cover to my wife who is a laundry expert.
In the end, we concluded that we washed the garment as Debra requested and we did not make a mistake with the cover. The main reason we did not refund her money is that my wife went online and found that this daybed cover explicitly stated "Dry Clean Only". I explained this to Debra and noted that I won't refund money since we followed her instructions, but as a show of good faith, I volunteered to donate $100 to Debra's favorite charity and refund the cost of the wash. Debra countered that she would bring the Day Bed cover to her local trusted cleaning expert; I assumed I would hear back from her after that discussion.
We do thousands of loads of bedding per year and the vast majority of our customers are delighted with our service.
Still, laundering has inherent risks - Our laundry ticket explicitly states "NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SHRINKAGE, FADING, NON-COLORFAST OR CLOTHING LEFT OVER 30 DAYS"
The back of our dry cleaning ticket addresses it as follows "In laundering, we cannot guarantee against color loss, shrinkage..."
