The business was spotless! The ambiance was calm and had music playing that you can sing along to. The service was fast and attentive. The food was amazing. I'll be going back

This location sucks and makes the Sushi Song brand look bad. There's no quality control at all. I had the surf and turf roll 2 days ago and it was sloppy and flavorless. Chicken yakisoba was 90% veggies, 5% chicken 5% noodles.
If I never went to the Oakland Park location I would never go to Sushi Song again. Nothing beats the OG spot. Shoutout to Rob.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Fay N.FL, FL11022Nov 6, 2022
First of all I want to say the staff seemed to be very kind, this is the second sushi song I've been to and the food at the last location was great. The location itself is in a good area, and has great decor and soothing music. I found the place to be very clean & neat so I would not hesitate to eat inside. They're conveniently open very late, so I'd also add that as a positive. It's a place I really wouldn't hesistate on trying if you're craving sushi.

I had never eaten sushi before, or even thought about it. A friend led me to Sushi Song in Pines and now I'm a regular! Holmz and his staff are spectacular! They truly make you feel at home. It's just a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food is so fresh. If your not a sushi fan they have a full menu of other Asian delights. There is nothing better in South Florida!

Ordered last night. I took one bite of the spider roll and instantly knew something was wrong so I didn't eat anymore. Ate the dumplings and they seemed alright. 2 hours later I was throwing up non stop for hours. I've only ordered from here once before and didn't have an issue but I hadn't had anything since yesterday morning so this is the only food that could have made me sick.

Really wanted to like this restaurant but sorry to say the food was horrible. We ordered take away and had to wait over an hour to get our food (this really doesn't bother me...if the food is good).
I got the pork belly bao buns....definitely not bao buns....more like hawaiian roll tupe of bread. The meat was not pork belly or was either cooked so well that it was dry and chewy. The cole slaw was thick and heavy on the mayo....made the bread soggy but guess it helped with the dry pork.
I also had King Salmon roll which was mushy and tasteless. My husband's order (soup and Hamachi jalapeño roll) was also disappointing.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Zack P.FL, FL02Feb 24, 2023
I've been to the restaurant a few times now and I have not yet been impressed. The sushi is not quality. I feel this place is overpriced and they want to charge you for every small thing they can. Their food has made me throw up on 2 separate occasions. I love sushi and don't have a problem paying for good food if it's worth it but time and time again this place has failed me. Not only will I never return, I will make sure anyone I know doesn't waste their time and money here like I did. One star. Dog food.
