Lovely experience here! Salon is super clean and feels zen. Did a last minute gel mani and pedi and the shop was quickly able to accomoodate me on a Monday morning. The nail tech (Sunnie) was friendly and warm. My nails look great and they are ready for vacation! Thank you to the team here! Best part was the mini massage at the end, she really got to my knot!

It's so hard to find good nail techs and a clean salon. This place fits the bill! Most things that are used are new, even the foot scrubbers are opened straight out of the packaging and disposed of after use! Prices are fair. My nails look flawless every time l leave.

I just moved to this neighborhood. It's my first time going for classic mani /pedi to Sweet Nail. The salon looks new, peaceful and clean. Ladies working there are friendly and no hard selling. I looked at the poster about Dazzle Dry Gel-like mani. It caught my attention. It's organic, nontoxic, dry it quick and no UV lights needed. I didn't believe it would work, until I tried it! Excellent excellent excellent! Definitely come back!

Hands down the BEST nail salon around. I had both mani and pedi. The staff is friendly and the salon is beautiful and spotless! Everything was top notch! Great customer service and attention to detail. Highly recommended!

Found this gem in my neighborhood! Easy parking. They give amazing manicures and pedicures. They take their time and make sure the nails are exactly how you want them to be. The salon is very clean and has a relaxing environment. Staff is very friendly as well. I got Lavender spa which is gorgeous. Great mini massage after getting nails done! I also like that they carry non-toxic polishes. Will definitely be coming back.

A month ago, I called for nail extensions. They recommended me to do Gel X extensions. Sunnie did my nails. Absolutely in love with these tips! Super secure, a lot of compliments, and people think these are my natural nails! It last long without chipping or breaking. By the way, the salon it's very clean and relaxing. My new go to nail salon.

I just left sweet nails. It was my first time ever going there and I was a walK in right when they opened and took me right away. I had to remove my powder set and decided to go with gel manicure. She carefully removed the powder manicure and prepped my nails for gel manicure and she took her time to make sure that they were nice and clean. I wish I got her name. All in all I really liked my experience and my nails came out so nice. I recommend sweet nails!

When my go-to nail salon closed cause of COVID, I needed to find a new nail salon. Sweet Nails came up as a recommended salon by someone who travels 40 mins by car to get to them, so I figured it was worth a shot.
I only use Essie Gel Couture nail polish for my manis & pedis. Knowing this, I'm prepared to pay extra (usually $3-$5 per mani, and the same per pedi). However, since some salons don't carry a full line of Essie Gel Couture colors, I usually bring my own color and top coat. I walk in and was pleasantly surprised that they had some good colors and picked one. Proceeded to get my toes done with their EGC color and MY top coat. Get my mani, use MY color and MY top coat. Go to pay, the owner, Veronica, tells me its $30 for a mani/pedi. Then asked if I used the salon's EGC nail polish. I said, I used 1 out of their 3 polishes for my pedi only. So now all of a sudden my total is $38. That's an $8 upcharge for using their 1 color. I said to her, for an $8 upcharge, you should have told me BEFORE I used the color. She tells me "there's a sign there with the price". I asked her to show it to me. She proceeds to go to the section and looks confused. "Oh there was a sign that used to be there" and comes back with $1 of change (I gave her a $50). I replied "you just told me it was $38". Her response "oh yeah I forgot you got callus eliminator". Fair enough but calculate correctly and completely before you take a patron's money.
I honestly don't make a big deal about a few dollars here and there, especially when it's a local business during these COVID times. However, what is not okay is:
- Transparency of pricing
- No empathy for being wrong and the customer being right (there was no sign)
In addition, apparently you air dry your nails there if you get non-gel. The lady next to me was told to wait and sit there until her nails dried (no fan). I was told to sit there and wait until my nails dried AFTER my nail tech took the fan from two girls drying their pedicures. Sorry girls!
I usually sympathize with Latina owned businesses, but this isn't how you treat a first-time customer. It seems like they have their "regulars" so I'm not worried about them losing business. However, for us new customers, beware.
Oh and also - if you're looking for nail-tech Sandra: "She's currently pregnant and doesn't have a set schedule. Depending on how she feels she comes in or not." - As overheard on two calls that came in. Completely unprofessional. The correct answer, as one of Owner Veronica's employees tried to state is: "Sandra is currently out. I would love to book an appointment with another of my nail techs if you'd prefer."Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mariam R.Flushing, NY12910351Aug 24, 2018
I paid 40$ just for them to change the COLOR of my acrylics to a different gel color when every other salon in queens charges 30$ for a gel filling... meaning I could have got a new set of nails with that.
I was desperate or I wouldn't go here.
Worst part is the over priced gel I paid for chipped everywhere on day 2!!! I've been getting gel for years and it never ever chipped even for 3-4 weeks.
Fake gel polish and over priced as hell. I was robbed for my money omg.
Also my nail polish looks in even and lumpy.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
