I rarely rate this low but something has to be said about how this place has been run since the sister store opened in Houston. It's become such a hit or miss and really depends upon who you get as your tech and their mood that day. I've been coming here for many years but pulled the last straw recently after a string of unpleasant appointments.
The good: they are quick to find an open appointment with your tech of choice. They are clean and there is no typical overwhelming aroma of polish remover.
The bad: The techs speak to each other about customers, it's just plain rude. The pricing schedule makes absolutely no sense (each visit can vary from 5-15$ more). The tech will add on services without telling you it's extra or how much; on multiple occasions the tech would transition into a massage or bringing additional soaks without asking. The techs that are really good at what they do have an attitude and don't like to hear any of your opinions.
I've overlooked the bad for multiple appointments (as have my girlfriends that went here in the past and moved on) but they just aren't who they were. We're breaking up.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 3967245Nov 5, 2023
They do excellent work and had no wait on a weekday during my lunch hour but I they are over priced, in my opinion.

Nikki is always able to do my nails just as I request them no matter how difficult I can be. Nikki's work is always great

My boyfriend and I got mani and pedis here the other day. The techs here were outstanding and the guy at reception was super friendly. I even met the owner and he was so nice. Honestly, they treated us like family. The acrylics on nails are so gorgeous and the massage they gave us was amazing.
Even though the store was getting kind of busy while we were there... they definitely gave us the attention we needed and we never felt rushed. Highly recommend!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Valerie T.Sugar Land, TX832149May 17, 2021
I went to a different salon where I wasn't really satisfied with before coming here. Basically a nail popped off and they were too long so I had clipped them myself. Since they were also too thick I was getting irritated with how they looked and decided I needed to get them fixed. It was a late Sunday and most places were closed, so I decided to come here! Theresa did such a great job basically redoing the debacle from the previous salon. We did a dip ombré with neon yellow and they look fantastic! I usually have a tough time getting the coffin shape with how short I prefer the nails, most technicians tell me it needs to be longer to get the shape and since I work on a computer all day, long nails really affect my typing speed. She also managed to get them really thin so it looks very natural! Will definitely be coming back for Theresa!

Went in for a full set and a pedicure. Showed the lady the picture of what I wanted. She kept trying to cut my nail shorter than I wanted when asked multiple times to be kept long. When asked if possible to make the white part thinner she said "it was already too late" but has only started on one finger. Paid full price for something I did not asked for, and just simply asked to please follow the reference picture but still decides to do her own thing. Was already frustrated with my experience and told her to not bother adding the pearls because it would just be more expensive. Very disappointed with my experience and will not be coming back.

I am a very unsatisfied customer on my last visit. They got upset
with me for a crappy job they did. I been coming here for
years, but ever since John is no longer at this location seems
that they do not care for great customer service. I will
not be returning everrrrHelpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ash A.Sugar Land, TX015Jan 2, 2022
If you do go here (which I wouldn't recommend due to price increase), DO NOT get Janet. I have attached a picture of what I wanted and what I got. Not only did this take nearly 2 hours, I was extremely frustrated with my end result. I get a similar style done by other salons and they always deliver but for some reason this time it was not what I wanted. Janet did not listen to what I wanted, did a sloppy job, and made countless mistakes. I wanted the 4 different shades of brown(which I eventually got) but she originally was going to do all of my nails in the same shade which I made clear from the beginning was not what I asked for. The coats of paint were so thin that I could see my NATURAL NAIL and the streaks. The techniques she used did not look what I'm used to getting and it messed up the overall job. I do not recommend, especially if you want to pay $85 for it!

Have you ever paid $115 for a shellac refill and deluxe pedicure? No? I didn't think so. Not until you go to this place. I haven't been here since 2016 but I paid $125 for a gel full set and gel pedicure including tip then. With tip today I paid $132. And it took two hours to finish because a lady didn't want to follow instructions and started arguing with me, she tried to charge me extra for cuticles without actually cutting them. I had to get a replacement tech to start all over. I had to tell the lady doing my pedicure OVER AND OVER to remove the hard skin. I told her where before we started but she waited until after my feet were dry from soaking to start the process. No nails should take 2 hours and $132 to do. I'm never coming back here ever again. On top of everything the job was barely satisfactory. I can be slightly okay with paying that much if the job was stellar but you got no business charging that price for a subpar job.

I came in for a regular mani-pedi with polish only. I was very satisfied with the length of the appointment (just under an hour for both). It was nice and I felt pampered. The only reason for three stars is the pressure from staff to upgrade services. When I told my nail tech I didn't want shellac or an extended massage (after she began to rub my shoulders - which felt amazing by the way, it just wasn't a service I asked for or wanted to pay more for at the time), the tech seemed to lose interest and my polish job was rushed. My nails were also left quite rough on the end, so I used a smaller grain file when I got in the car to smooth them out. I also applied an additional clear coat after I got home to even out the manicure a bit more. If I go back, I will just skip the polish altogether and do it myself at home. $60
