Great service with these guys. Quick to respond anywhere in the Triangle without outrageous 'trip charges'. Used them several times, with good results. Another feather in the quiver especially if you manage properties! Give them a try!

Would give them zero stars if I could. Absolutely terrible, does not work in good faith whatsoever. Please use literally anyone else. I fully anticipate they are going to comment to try to discredit this as you can see they have done in the other reviews below. They are not honest, please stay away.

T&C's installers messed up both the gas and electrical in my range hookup (dangerous and had to be corrected), scratched my floor by dragging my old stove directly across it (which I specifically asked them not to do), and their office won't return my calls or emails, or send me the invoices I've requested.
While installing my stove, they "upgraded my breaker" (an extra charge) such that it was no longer appropriate for the range specifications, this had to be undone but I was never refunded the extra charge. They also installed my regulator backwards so that my stove was getting too much gas. Their office is not reachable so I have had to pay someone else to correct their work.
They also replaced a washing machine pump for me a few months ago which seems to have failed again, but they only have a 30 day warranty. I would guess that the part's manufacturer at least has a longer warranty than that, but the T&C office person was not willing to look into that, which was really disappointing.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mary T.Wake Forest, NC03Jan 20, 2021
WORD OF WARNING!!! Ask for a detailed estimate BEFORE authorizing the ordering of parts or repair work. Do this every time you deal with them.
My CC was charged for parts and service, I received NO details as to what was replaced, how much the parts or the labor was. They claim that the $75 diagnostic charge will be applied toward service by they don't provide a detailed receipt and no published prices - so you never know if that really happened

On Sunday March 22 I woke up to my freezer defrosting and leaking water, turned out my refrigerator had stopped cooling correctly. As it was during the COVID 19 crisis I had a lot of food stored. So I called this company T&C Appliance to come out on a Sunday.
They did come out same day, but that's where the helpfulness stopped.
They sent a tech who said my "compressor was running so that was good". Then he decided I needed coolant and I may have a leak in the system (and he had to call his supervisor to confirm his diagnosis).
Monday morning my refrigerator and freezer were room temp! I called them back and now they couldn't come back for two days. When they finally came back they said if it's a leak it would be as expensive to fix as new refrigerator and recommended I get a new one.
My old fridge was only 4.5 years old!
Long story short I reached out to LG (who made my fridge) and finally got someone online who sent someone out the next day and fixed my fridge for free. They said it was the compressor and that the fridge did not even need coolant.
I'm upset because I put trust in a company that does refrigerator repair to give me advice. Yes I authorized adding the coolant however I trusted they knew what was best. In the end they were wrong and according the the LG service man, T&C used bad parts and made a correction that wasn't needed at all. I've e-mailed T&C with my concerns with no reply at all. We are very sorry you feel as though we misdiagnosed the issue. The gauges we put on your refrigerator showed that you were low on refrigerant. The gauges are accurate. We are uncertain as to why another company informed you that we used a bad part. We never changed any parts. We added the needed coolant to your system, which is why the other LG technician would have said you didn't need any. A compressor change is even more expensive & doesn't always need replacing. It is fortunate that you discovered you had a warranty and they were able to honor it & replace your compressor for free. Which in our professional opinion was not needed.

A few weeks ago, my 20+ year-old microwave gave a slight wheeze and went dark. I asked T&C Appliance/HVAC's most congenial owner, Terry, to come evaluate the situation. Not only was the operating panel dead, but no replacement panel was available. Terry told me what brand of microwave to buy and agreed to install it and take my old one to salvage. He even suggested an online purchasing source, with which he is not connected. Following his advice, I purchased a classy new microwave in black--one that is far fancier than my previous oven. And today, Terry and his assistant installed it. It looks beautiful, and I can't wait to make popcorn again.
A note about dealing with Terry. He has been extremely kind and helpful, in addition to being the consummate professional--and charming, too. Throughout this last year I have had many technicians, delivery people, etc. visit my house. Terry is my favorite, hands down. No I don't recommend these people. I had some work done on my AC unit it cost me around 800$ they completed the job and left. Not even 3 hours after they left it had started blowing hott again. I called them they said they would be out to look at it again the following morning. No showed so I called didn't get an answer got on FB and found that they had blocked me. I called from another number and as soon as they knew it was me they hung up. Needless to say I spent 800$ on about an hour's worth of air. I had to call someone else out he let me know that it was filled up but the leak hadn't been fixed so it just leaked back out again. Which is what is stated in the estimate and receipt that was to be fixed Got it fixed again and now we are going to court. I used this company because of the reviews so I wanted to make sure it doesn't happen again to someone else. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
