The philosophy at T.C. Eggington's is, "The customer is always number 1; create a lasting impression, a unique, satisfying experience of great food and an accommodating and friendly staff. We look at the restaurant as entertaining at home, wanting the customers to feel comfortable and as if each and everyone is a guest in our home." You'll fall in love with our egg-straordinary omelettes (the O'Pear is a classic must-have), filling and flavorful pancakes (aka "Girdle Cakes"), perfectly prepared "Ben E. Dict's", satisfying sandwiches, salads and much, much more! Indulge in our famous "English Toast" of fresh-baked cinnamon bread dipped in our custard-rich batter or our Crab-Stuffed Pastries, Apple Streusel Walnut Muffins or Smoothie Shoogles. Enjoy our garden-fresh salads including our Waldorf Chicken with homemade apple cider dressing, soup made-from-scratch every single day and satisfying sandwiches served with TC's salad of the day. Call ahead to make a reservation or to have your name cheerfully added to our seating list. Take-out orders available, too!

Q:
Does anyone have an Eggington's biscuits and gravy copy cat recipe you'd be willing to share? I might have to fly here from California just for this.

My friends and I went to T.C. Eggington's this weekend and it was fantastic!!! Chris was our server and he was beyond amazing - attentive, knowledgeable, and speedy.
And the food was so wonderful! I had the Crack O Dawn skillet and it was everything I dreamed of and wish I could have it for breakfast every day.
We were able to get extra spice (or not) for our bloody Mary's and that was great for our group bc some of us can't handle the heat and others seek it out.
Thank you, Chris!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Taylor A.Oceanside, CA036Feb 24, 2024
Cute interior. The food was good but unfortunately the menu prices are wrong.
Apparently they have "old" menus and "new" menus and they're mixed together.
They charged me $4 more than I was expecting on my plate due to giving me an old menu. (I didn't even look at anyone else's food prices)
The staff said their system adds the extra charges and they can't do anything about it.
It's sad because I really liked the environment and the food was pretty good but we felt screwed over and the staff looked at us like we were stupid. They genuinely did not care that we were wrongfully overcharged.
I understand $4 isn't crazy but it's just misleading and with a big family, that can add up fast. Very disappointed in the end.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 8, 2023
Designed as a country cottage interior, TC Eggington's is a nice breakfast and brunch spot. Clean with country style furniture, menu is part traditional part original. Staff wears golf-type outfits which I am not certain how it blends with
country cottage interior, but it does create a unique identity.
Food wise it was mostly good. Kalamata and vegetable omelette was a wonderful surprise. Smoothie of spinach apple yogurt and banana was good although it could have been blended a bit better. My friend had burrito and stayed it was bit too dry.
Staff and service were good. One thing I observed it was difficult to get recommendation from the server. Something I often do.
All in all despite the criticism - it is a well above average restaurant!!!Helpful 6Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 0 - Asta C.Mesa, AZ0142Mar 15, 2024
Have been coming here for years and the food is always fabulous. The menu has everything from a plain breakfast to Mexican flavored options to Benedict's. As well as breakfast parfaits. Everyone is happy if you bring a larger party here.
The service is always exemplary, from what comes out of the kitchen to the professional servers. I highly recommend you give TC Eggington's a try.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 169503392Sep 25, 2023
This place was super cute and delicious. The eggs Benedict were so flavorful and a big meal. We all enjoyed breakfast here and will have it as another stop in place.

My husband & I had brunch here 2/7/24. We were greeted by a friendly hostess & seated immediately. Water was brought quickly & our order of coffee arrived with a filled carafe (Love that!). This was our first visit and we couldn't decide between an omelette or the Girdle Cakes (yup, that's what they're called). So, we decided to share & order one of each. We got the Piglet's Passion omelet (without the peppers, tomatoes or olives) & the 2 slices of Foster's French Toast. Know that for same price you could choose the regular French Toast that comes with 3 pieces without the sauce & bananas. Our waiter was great & had the kitchen divide everything for us. The food was delicious. Homemade English muffins & jam was extra special. We'll have to visit here again.

I'm not one to complain but check your plates for dried food particles. Ever since new owners have taken over it's very disheartening. I mean is the dish washer too busy checking instagram or FB. What's really going on. The food is amazing don't get me wrong but the last three visits each several months apart, I've spotted dried food on my plate. Be sure to check yours.

Excellent food, not a horribly long wait to get seated. The Piglet's Passion was delicious, the French toast was on point and the O'Pear Grenache Omelette was decent.

Disappointed at the service I received/ didn't receive. Sat for about 5-10 minutes without ever being greeted. I'd say at least 2 employees walked past me multiple times and I'd obviously had not been greeted. Another gentlemen was sat after me and his waitress stopped by and let him know she'd be right back. Watched his order get taken and decided to just leave. Brought my menu back up front and the same employee that walked by me a couple time, asked if everything was ok. I had let him know, that I had still not been taken care of. He then tried to make it right. Although I appreciate the sudden care and attention, why not at least come by and help when you saw me sitting there looking around for someone....
Can't rate the food because I didn't get the opportunity to try it. Based on service or lack their of, don't think I'll be coming back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 37718346483Nov 15, 2023
If you're looking for a fancy spot this isn't it. It's definitely a no frills mostly breakfast as well as some lunch options. We were greeted right away when we entered and it was like walking back in time ha ha. I was not expecting the old basic decor or lack there of. I was there to eat though and that's what matters most to me. My son loves it here and since it was his birthday we drove over so he could enjoy some breakfast. The menu isn't very large, but had some good options. I chose the veggie omelette or what they call the English Harvest which also comes with what they call parlor potatoes (diced seasoned potatoes). One of my boys chose biscuits and gravy, my dad basic eggs, bacon and such, and my birthday boy the crack o dawn which is the parlor potatoes , diced ham, mushrooms , cheese etc. everything came out fairly quick. Service was the most lacking for me. We had to wait and try to catch the server to try and get water refills. By the time we caught her we were ready to go. Prices were fair for portion size. My omelette was awesome. Full of flavor, good size, veggies weren't over cooked and fresh. The potatoes which I typically don't enjoy that styler were seasoned well and crispy on the outside. I still prefer hash browns. Unfortunately they do not offer them. My son likes the gravy for the biscuits, but said the biscuits themselves were too dry and not very good. Everyone else enjoyed their food.
