Tammy's Nails

I had to write this review because I had such a great experience!! I have been to just about every nail salon in Harrisonburg and have honestly hated all of them but this one was a breath of fresh air. I actually had to stop getting my nails done at school because the other salons are so bad but not this one!!! This was my first time going and I got a design so I was nervous but they turned out so great. I was also able to make an appointment online which is awesome. Usually my nails are anywhere from $70-$90 so I thought these would be around the same but nope!! The nails i got were only $50. I don't think my nails have ever been that affordable especially not with a design. I will definitely be going back and recommending this place. Easy to make an appointment, good nail artists, and affordable!!!

Been going to Tammy's for a few years. Today I got one of the worst pedicures. It appeared to me the young man doing the pedicure was more interested in watching what was going on in the salon and couldn't wait to get in back to get on his phone. He didn't massage feet at all (did legs a little); after he didn't attempt to clip nails, I requested it and the only response I could understand from him was he could only file them which he proceeded to do only the two big toes; he barely scrubbed the callouses; the polishing was ok but nothing to brag on.
It's time for me to find another salon.

Liam did a FANTASTIC job on my nails. I got a gel manicure and I could not be more pleased!! It was a very busy night, but I walked in and they were able to fit me into their tight schedule! So glad that I came to visit the shop! I will definitely be visiting again!

This place has been my go-to for years. Every time I go the service is professional, friendly, and very gentle! They even offer coke, Diet Coke or water! The chairs are always in working condition and they always remember and recognize us as returning customers. I get their gel manicure, pedicure and eye brow. Results are always perfect and completely painless. They really know what they're doing and they appear very sanitary. I've noticed, I'm an RN! The price is right and I have never been dissatisfied with their quality service, expertise and finesse. 5 stars!

I had an appointment for pedicure & the nail tech was 10 mins late showing up for work. Never apologized or said a word about being late. Didn't adjust my chair so with short legs I was uncomfortable the entire time. She was kept messing with my big toes and I thought they were bleeding at one point. This morning I have a bruise on my ankle where she was holding my foot up and can't get a shoe on because the toes are sore. Glad I didn't do polish.

The man who did my full set did a nice job, but was not super friendly. Definitely knew what he was doing, but barely said any words or much less even gave me a smile. Oh well. Will still probably go back to get them filled in the future.

Best ever!!! On vacation fully knowing I had zero time to get a fill and pedi before.. well I'm glad I didn't cause this place is awesome!

Went in and asked if they could take 2 manicures and 2 pedicures and they said yes. I even confirmed with the woman again. After 15 minutes, the woman approached me to tell me she could only do one of us because she had an appointment. Will never return.

I was disappointed with my service here. I asked for a design and was told no problem. However after my pedicure, when she started my fill I asked if she wanted to look at the picture again and I was told she couldn't do the design because it was two colors. I was confused because she had told me before it was no problem. Apparently another lady was actually supposed to do the design and was busy with another customer. Since we hadn't even started on my nails I assume they just didn't want to do the design. I felt that I was lied to and I won't be back.

I'm not sure why this place has such good reviews. I live in the area and have been to most nail places around. I don't get a simple manicure or square shape gels I get very nice long acrylic coffin nails. This place use to be my favorite but I started getting a man who was horrible! He didn't take his time it ended up in my nails coming up after not even a week! I come in to show them to get them glued back down and they are trying to get me to say who did them which I did not want to do because I didn't want to cause any trouble I just wanted my nails fix. They knew who I was I go all the time. They began laughing at me and making fun of me. They fixed my nails and shortly after they came back up. I never went back.
