Q:
Am I able to call to make a reservation? I've tried calling the provided phone number multiple times and nobody answers.
A:
Yes, you can make reservations (I've done so a couple of times). But they don't open until 4, which may be the reason you're not getting an answer.
Will L.Â1 year agoQ:
Does each order come with two portions to share or single and order needs to be doubled to share?
A:
It's a single portion, you can divide it however you like. Each diner has his own plate.

This place is so good! Came on a Tuesday around 5:50, was able to get some of the dishes at happy hour price.
The fav. And must try is the crab and caviar pinco! I want to come back here just for this!! It reminds me of a crab hand roll at the sushi place, the crab is sooo fresh and the dish is light!
Second fav. Is the yellowtail crudo, it is light and fish is fresh; the pickled pepper and the truffle oil gives it a nice flavor.
Third favorite is the eggplant rollatini with burrata cheese!!! Omg so good!!
The Foie Gras Torchon is also a very good dish!
The ones I probably won't get next time:
Wagyu slider, it is a sweet burger lol
Caviar deviled egg, nothing special!
prosciutto pincho was also okay, nothing special
Would def recommend this place!Helpful 3Thanks 2Love this 4Oh no 0 - 831782135Oct 24, 2023
I was in Seattle for a work trip and my friend recommended this spot to meet up for dinner. We got lucky and found street parking right across the street from the restaurant. We had no trouble getting seats at around 6pm on a weeknight.
The one thing my friend noticed was that the menu had changed from her previous visits. The server did indicate there was an ownership changer earlier this year. So some of the items I picked out on their website were no longer available, but most of them still were.
We ordered a ton of food.
The caviar deviled egg was so delicious. The egg yolk was creamy, the paprika was smoky, and the caviar was salty. A perfect bite of food.
We ordered a couple pinchos. It's essentially a fancy toast, with the bread being pincho bread. The cured salmon pincho was good, but leaned a little too sweet. I think the saltiness of the cured salmon was tamped down too much by the honey on the dish. But the capers provided a little extra bite of saltiness. Maybe, I just wished there were more capers. The bulgogi pincho tasted exactly how I thought it would. The marinade was good, and the garlic aioli was probably my favorite flavor.
I also LOVED the foie gras torchon, which is similar to a terrine, just poached while wrapped in a cheesecloth. The berry jam provided the sweetness foie usually needs and the brioche was toasted and delicious.
Another top item for me was the yellowtail crudo. This crudo was served with truffle oil and salt, but the unique twist for me was the peppers in the dish. There was a pepper relish as well as a different type of pepper that made the dish unique. The marcona almonds were a nice textural element as well.
The most forgettable dish was probably the chirashi. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best. The rice wasn't seasoned all that well, which is the indicator of a good chirashi bowl. The fish and seafood was fresh, but I'd definitely stick to a lot of the other items that are available.
Overall it was a really cute spot in a cute neighborhood and the food was pretty good. I definitely found this to be more of a locals spot than a tourist stop, so if you're wanting to get out of the normal touristy joints, I'd recommend this place!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 1, 2023
Found street parking easily right in front, since it was early (5pm). It was empty so I got a table right away. Seems like everyone there was on a date.
Ordered from the happy hour ($1-2 off)
- wine flight (3/5): love how it was presented but I only liked the Cabernet and the others were meh
- crab and caviar pincho (5/5): THIS IS THE STAR OF THE SHOW! High recommend! It had real crab, not that imitation stuff.
- Bulgogi pincho (4/5): good but not mind blowing
- salmon pincho (3/5): flavors didn't go well together
I loved the ambiance, and the pinchos so I will definitely return.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 16371760Sep 19, 2023
I REALLY like the pinchos here, but they do cost a tad high. The crab and caviar is one I dream about, and I'm not even a big fan of caviar. I recommend that as the one thing you should try here. Overall, the food quality here is excellent and I like finding unique things off their menu. The vibe here is relaxing and perfect for date nights or special occasions.

Finally tried Tapas Lab and I am very pleased! I love the small but flavor-packed bites, and they have a large selection of beer/ciders/wine/etc. to pair with your meal. Service was a little slow considering we were 1 of 2 tables in the restaurant at the time, but our server was nice nonetheless!
This place is a little high on the prices considering the size of food. With that said, my friend and I came for Happy Hour so it was a little cheaper, and the quality and taste are reasons why I'd justify coming back. My favorite pinchos were the bulgogi beef and the crab and caviar pincho, and I highly recommend getting the wagyu sliders which had so much flavor and were actually pretty filling!
All in all, I'd come back for HH again and would recommend if you're looking for light bites in the area!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 31, 2022
I've been meaning to try this place for a while. I frequent the area around Tapas Lab and had once even stopped by and inquired about their food, etc., but only yesterday did I finally make it by.
They had some tables setup outside, and we opted for one of those. It may sound crazy this time of year, but they were completely covered and heated. It was toasty inside our little tent! Our server said we were "glamping." It was actually a lot of fun, honestly, and cozy too, especially when the rain started.
We started with an assortment of pinchos: shrimp, cured salmon, anchovy and jamón. My friends each got some local beers that were on tap. I normally would have done the same, but I really wanted to try their healthy 15 oz. sangria. I liked it so much, I even ordered another later in the evening! We later ordered their curry hummus with naan (tasty and spicy hummus!), and the cheese plate. After all that food and drink, even after 2 hours, we were quite full.
The food was quite good! Sangria tasty and authentic. Beers, served in beakers ("Lab", right?), were also good. Only complaint: the cheese plate might have worked better with bread or crackers. Still, good sampler of various cheeses.
Wait staff, BTW, were exceptional. They were responsive and invariably friendly and helpful.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sep 20, 2022
Went here for happy hour and everything we tried was delicious! The wagyu sliders are incredible, we ended up ordering them twice! The burger was flavorful, tender, and well prepared. I really liked the Bulgogi pincho, they do a great job marinating their meats here with tons of flavor.
Really great attentive service, we came during happy hour on a Wednesday and there were plenty of spots inside and outside.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sep 3, 2022
Their Tuesday-Saturday 4-6pm happy hour menu was a steal! My friend and I had a fun experience sharing these finger foods and it was a quiet time of afternoon so we got to enjoy this trendy restaurant at its best.
- Pinchos (bread slices with toppings): the shrimp pincho was great with their light cream cheese. The cured salmon was a bit too fishy for both of us. The bulgogi pincho tasted delicious.
- Beecher's Cheese Plate: such a diverse and interesting assortment of cheeses! But we needed more crostini to balance out the richness - it was a bit too much for us to finish. The honeycomb was a nice touch.
- Wagyu Sliders: delicious but the caramelized onions obscured the taste of the meat and we couldn't taste the foie gras
- Ice cream on a Cloud (for 2): standard quality desserts (M&M's, Oreos, brownies and ice cream that tasted store-bought, whipped cream, cotton candy) thrown together into a fun presentation! Of course it was yummy but the quality was not worth the price.
The total came out to $31 per person which was well worth the variety of tapas we tried and the pictures, but I personally would not come again for a meal during their regular hours. I highly recommend a walk around the neighboring Green Lake before or after your meal!
In summary: Good food, but the innovative ideas for each dish were made with regular-quality ingredients that could be easily replicated at home for a fraction of the cost.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Apr 24, 2023
Super nice and cool little spot just right off of Green Lake. They've got exactly what they're advertising. Tapas! So be prepared it's tapas style dining! Try everything. The quality of the food is too notch, an experience for sure! Their service was great, just there right amount of attention yet plenty of time to socialize and enjoy the ambiance. The setting is very intimate and casual. The lightning gave me "one of Green Lake's best kept secrets" vibe. One thing to note. It's only beer and wine, so for all your other libations, you might have to go elsewhere afterwards. But plenty of wine and beer to pick from!

Everything we had was delicious! If you come during happy hours you can get $1-2 dollars off of select items. My favorite was the wagyu sliders and truffle gnocchi. Can be expensive but the atmosphere service and food was great!!
