Texas Burritos & More

Woo-hoo, they are worthy of the Texas name. We're visiting from Dallas and the authentic steak tacos were absolutely delicious. My wife liked the tomatillo sauce and the rest of the orders on the table were enjoyed, including the quesadillas, chips and salsa, and enchiladas.

When you sit down they bring a big bowl of chips with salsa. The corn chips are really thin and crispy. Our waitress was very attentive but not overbearing. She told us their two most popular platters are The Authentic Taco plate and the Shrimp Taco plate.

The Authentic Taco platter is delicious. The steak is very tender and the tomatillo salsa is amazing. My wife loved her Shrimp Taco plate. I would add that both come without any sides but the plate was filling enough.

The inside is a lot of eclectic tables that seem sort of antique; this gave it a neat feel.

We loved it and plan to return as soon as possible.

The food is absolutely amazing!
You walk in and are greeted promptly by a person with a smile on their face. The inside is inviting and lively with home-dining-room-kinda vibes. The staff is friendly, inviting, prompt, and helpful, taking time to explain anything with which you might not be familiar.

Wow! The seasonings on all the meats I tried were fantastic! My recommendation is the Authentic Tacos and a side of their house-made refried beans.

The burrito was OK, but the price was very high. I like to try restaurants that I've never been to before always looking for a good place to return. This is not one.

I am from San Antonio so I know Tex-Mex! This as close to my home town flavors that I have ever found!!!

Texas Burrito has a great location downtown. It's easy to find and easy access yo many things - especially a story telling tent. The space is is rather small. The team was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was very clean even during a day when there were lots of customers coming and going.

My wife had the burrito bowl. She liked the fresh taste and combination of ingredients. I had the burrito. The tortilla was nice and soft. The burrito was rather large and came with a small cup of mild salsa. The burrito was filled with finely ground meat and potato pieces. I thought the filling just kind of sat there and lacked any distinguishing taste.

Overall the Texas Burrito was a nice stop along the tourist path. It made for a nice lunch but nothing outstanding or distinguishing that really made it memorable.

Decent little Tex-mex. Meals had good flavor and ok size portions for price. Wasn't too busy on a Saturday later lunch. Wait staff was welcoming. Menu warnings about up charges for modifications on orders ($1) and for sharing ($4) was a little off putting. Honestly about caused us to walk out, but we opted to stay and our light eater just took 2/3rd of her meal home.

Lovely restaurant to go to with friends! I've been here a few times and each time the staff is so great, the food is amazing, and margaritas are stellar! One time I got a margarita flight and it did not disappoint - to my knowledge this is the only place in the area with a marg flight. The food is always very fresh and comes in big portions, I usually get the fajitas and they're always great.

Loved this place!! Great service, great food! They make chips and salsa in house. They have good veg options. Can't wait to come back

I enjoyed the vegetarian options here. I think that it's nice to have variety. The prices were good and I like the location!
