A good local Thai place in a small town in souther Pennsylvania. The waiter (when we walked in at 2:30 pm) was not smiling at all. Almost grumpy. For no reason. But they are open throughout the day. We did double check with him to see if they were open. He nodded.

Generally good warm ambiance (on the dark side). Comfy seats.

Nothing to write home about, but it's a pleasant surprise to find a Thai restaurant in a relatively small town.

Food was fine; crispy Thai duck with basil was flavorful. The seafood tom yum soup was good with tender, big shrimps. The Jasmin tea however left something to be desired. Super cheap low quality tea bags from China. They give you a pot of hot water, and a tea bag and a cup. Self service!

I went here for a rehearsal dinner, and I thought the food was great! The beef and chicken satay was flavorful. I think I could drink the peanut sauce.

The basil duck is something I would undoubtedly come back for. It was crispy, spicy and flavorful! I didn't love the pad Thai, it was a little runny for my tastes. But it could have been because we were in a big party. I would give it another go.

      Basil Duck! Delicious :)

IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD!!!! , I will no longer be supporting this restaurant! I was a regular until an incident occurred on 10/28/20 by the main female manager AyaHana involving prejudice/racist behavior towards me and poor customer service skills due to an order that fell out of a paper bag. As simple as that smh

      Food is delicious.
Panang Curry is spot on. Pad Thai is wonderful. Siam Dumpling are super yum. Bangkok Spring Rolls are very tasty. Garden Rolls...some of the best I've ever had.

      Service is damn awful.

Table service is so ridiculously slow due to the staff serving multiple tables at once. It's like they bring out one plate to this table...one plate to that table...another plate to that table and so on. I've watched customers eating where only 2 people receive their food and the other 2 people just sit there. It's like an insane waitstaff dance show.

Carry out wait can take well over an hour even when they are not crowded.
It's really a shame because the chef knows how to cook and the place is surprisingly nice and trendy inside.

Wow is the right word to this place.. Had the chance to dig into some authentic Thai cusine.. The service is top notch.
      Tried and tasted
Panang curry, Spicy lemon grass,Drunken Noodles, Kow Soy.. all of them were v delicious..
Amazed to find the portion size larger than the usual servings by such restaurants..
The desert we ordered was fried banana, don't be fooled by the picture in the menu, they serve 5 medium sized pieces which is much more than expected and very filling..
Overall an amazing five star experience.

I've driven past this place several times and I've heard great things. I decided to stop for lunch. I walk in, several patrons are eating - but no sign of staff. Finally, someone emerges from the kitchen and I ask, "is it self seating"... no answer. I ask again, just a smile and a friendly "Welcome". So, I grab a menu and seat myself.

I order spring rolls and Tom Yum soup w/shrimp to start. The rolls come out promptly but are very greasy. The Tom Yum soup is hot and flavorful - but they have added cherry tomatoes. I have had the soup in many cities and never had tomatoes. It changes the broth and not in a good way. Alas, the rice dish is mundane.

The waitress seems nice enough, however, she rushes me the check (not giving me a warm fuzzy feeling). Overall, I see no reason to visit again. I'll try something new on my next trip to Hagerstown.

Best Thai food I've had in a while!
I ordered a vegetarian pad Thai and I could not be more satisfied. It was actually so good that I ended up overeating and going into a food coma.
I also had a mango sticky rice for dessert and it literally brought me back to my Bangkok days.
      The customer service was good.
Ultimately, I would recommend this place if you're feeling exotic and want to try out some international meal. It's very casual so no need on bringing out the 3 piece!

Stopped in here driving through on 70. Thought I'd try something better than fast food. Not a bad place, but rather unremarkable. It was fast service, and good pricing, but I have had green curry at quite a few places and wasn't very impressed.

      Large to-go order last night.

      #25 Panang curry - chicken
      #19 ka prow - chicken
      #31 pad thai - beef
#34 drunken noodle - beef (extra spicy)
      #27 green curry - chicken
      #9 Squid lovers
      #16 thai zap salad
      #18 crying tiger
      #40 kow soy
FBI frozen banana w icecream - green tea ice cream
      Mango cheesecake

We did a family style dinner for 6 people, so everyone got to taste some of each dish.

The panang was the overall favorite for everyone. Rich and delicious, not too spicy and not too bland.

The ka prow was probably the overall least favorite, which surprised me as it is usually one of my favorite thai dishes. It wasn't at all bad, just not wow next to some of the other delicious things to choose from.

The pad thai was very good and the portion size was very large for both noodle dishes.

The drunken noodle wasn't the best we've had, but still very good and they delivered on the request for extra spicy!

The green curry was also good, but a little thin to be ideal. We cook this dish often at home so are pretty picky about our green curry. That being said, if I was craving it and not in the mood to cook, this is the only place around here I'd want it from.

The kow soy was a new dish for us and a new favorite. To go, it comes served like Vietnamese pho, a large tupperware of broth and a separate container of the noodles and "fixings" that you blend to your taste. The broth was a rich, deep orange brown and SO DELICIOUS. I can't really describe the flavor, but it had undertones that reminded me of chicken soup and rich Indian spices. One person at the table absolutely didn't like this dish because she said the flavors were "too strong." Shrug. The rest of us all LOVED it. I will be as likely to crave this as pho on cold nights or when feeling under the weather. I mean YUM COMFORT FOOD!

The squid lovers was the other overall crowd favorite after the panang. Not like a typical fried calamari. Much larger chunks of squid. The batter stayed crisp even after the drive home. The sweetish sauce pairs perfectly. We had not one bite of this leftover.

Both the thai zapp and the crying tiger salads were a hit. Everyone loved both. My husband loved the thai zapp salad so much he wants it again today (he is not a salad man). I preferred the crying tiger, but both were DELICIOUS.

The fried bananas were just ok. The green tea icecream that came with them stole the show! Yum!

The only thing we didn't all try was the mango cheesecake. That was for my mother in law and she didn't yet tell us if she liked it. It looked good if a little more of a jello/pudding consistency than I usually equate with cheesecake. It jiggles lol.

As to the service, they were very friendly. They seemed short staffed when we arrived to pick up, but were so kind and apologetic at the wait that you could not be upset. After my husband paid and came home, half way through the meal my phone rang. It was the restaurant calling to make sure we were happy with our food, apologizing again for the wait, and telling us they couldn't accept the generous tip my husband left them because they "didn't deserve it." Did your jaw just drop? Because mine did! Name any other place anywhere that has turned down a tip because they felt bad for making you wait for your order....I'll wait. I've had tons of GREAT service over the years, but this takes the cake. These are sincerely good people. Between the food and that call...they won our lifetime loyalty right there.

We have finally found our go-to local Thai place!

This would maybe be a harsh review but this place is only good for take out purposes. The service was terrible and it wasn't even packed. The staff seemed short handed and there was 3 tables with 6 people total. The food was decent but didn't reach my expectations of what Thai is.
The noodles were good but they seemed to short hand my partner and I with the duck. I also heard that since the owners were Jewish, they give less duck than any other meat.
So my final thought on this would be to only go for takeout and get pad Thai or something like that.
