Please pay attention to upcoming special holidays hours! We always recommend making reservations ahead of time for any day and any time by leaving a detailed voicemail, we for sure call you back to confirm or modify it. Thank you so much! We will have a special Christmas & New Years menu, that may require a reservation by itself as well. We would appreciate if you let us know beforehand, if you going to go with these specials! We offer authentic Southern German cooking, mostly from the area Franconia in the state Bavaria. Simply said REAL good GERMAN food! Every Friday & Saturday nights live music from EDELWEISS, we suggest making reservations ahead of time in general for all our open hours! Enjoy owner Rainer's homemade Bratwurst, a variety of famous as well as one of a kind Schnitzel, which are available from pork or chicken.…

I highly recommend this place for good German food! We went there for our anniversary meal and had an enjoyable experience!
They prefer you make reservations prior to arriving. I called and left a voicemail and they were very responsive and called back in less than an hour of the call.
The hostess seated us immediately upon arrival and our waiter came and tended to us within minutes.
I definitely recommend the goulash and the apple strudel with ice cream for desert!
The live music definitely added to the ambience and authenticity to the whole experience!

I have to say that I read some of the negative reviews and while I don't mean to underplay other people's experiences, as a business owner, some of them are severely entitled!
There are way too many wacky yelpers dogging businesses over silly things.
These people work hard to serve patrons and I'm sure strive to meet everyone's expectations, be kind and thankful!

I have no complaint w your food, only your ambiance and the way you handled my review. I still stand by it. The food is good, the ambiance w mannequins, 1970's or so furniture and what looks like garage sale pictures on the wall, not so much.

I'm sure you have a loyal following. Please focus on them and not me.

The food here is amazing... the schnitzel kren (the horseradish gravy is the bomb), pretzel with melted beer cheese, red cabbage, strudel, and kartoffelpuffer are my favorite! I would, however, love to see a better selection of German beers. It seems every time we visit, there are slim pickings. We've spent time in Bavaria, and while the Bavarian's Wirtshaus's entertainment may not be typical to what we experience in todays German restaurants... We always still enjoy the atmosphere and listening to the live band playing traditional German tunes as folks polka around the front of the restaurant. I highly recommend making reservations, as we've been turned away before due to it being so busy. We only wish it were closer to Milton, so that we can visit more often...

The servings are massive and pretty good. The service is decent but not overly friendly. Maybe its the straight to the point German style. The pretzel app is slightly lackluster and its hard to understand the up charge on having the cheese dip heated. This could easily been 4 stars but the German band was fairly annoying with the vocals of a tortured goose. But... if giant servings of anything schnitzel is your thing, your in for a treat. The cordon blue is awesome. Bring earplugs just in case polka songs played like a broken accordion isn't your thing.

The food here is amazing. Fourth year coming here over the holidays. This is my dads favorite German restaurant and he asks for the same waitress every time he comes here while snowbirding (Nov-Apr) in FL.

As we have come here several times with different friends we have tried different foods off the menu. We all agree the schnitzels are the best. There is a variety of gravy to choose from.

Was told the Ruben sandwich is not what you would expect so if your are looking for a typical Ruben, you may not want to order one here. I'm always up for trying the unusual. Potato pancakes are a favorite and can be complimented with a choice of apple sauce, sour cream, smoked salmon or horseradish whip. I always go with the apple sauce. The sausage platter for a connoisseur of sausages may disappoint. A recent holiday parsnip soup with apple and spices was not well received by a couple of the men in our party but I tasted it and really enjoyed it. It had a hint of cinnamon and maybe anise and got its sweetness from the apples.

When you order your dinner you get a choice of two sides. For us the spatzle is always a must along with either the red cabbage or sauerkraut or the barvarian potato sauce. Other sides are available too like an interesting house salad that comes with cooked beets, carrots and green beans.

Music on Friday nights can be fun although don't expect to converse much at your table while the oompa band is playing.

Walked in at 6pm on a Saturday... turned away. Even from sitting at the bar for an appetizer.
      Reservations recommended.

Had my curiosity now,,,,,, came back at 7:30pm just to get. Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese to go, when ya know ya know.

Don't know when I'll be back but thumbs up to the last of the authentic Bavarian restaurants!

We have been wanting to try this place so we finally did.

The staff, all were extremely nice and accommodating, the host actually hugged regular guests when they arrived.

We both had the Jägerschnitzel, spouse's was a bit tough. They were a little thin. The batter was good and the Jäger mushroom gravy was good.

The salad was very good, the mustard for the pretzel was delicious and the beer cheese was good.
The fries were hot and tasty, used the curry ketchup, YUM!

It was okay to visit but not sure we would return. Since my spouse is half German, a high standard of German food is expected.

Can not recommend based off of the hostess/cashier. Incredibly rude individual. The wait staff was not the problem. I never tried the food, I finished half of my beverage and left after the final act of rudeness by hostess.

Fun, authentic dining experience! We ate the Schnitzel, Red Cabbage, Sauerbraten and their special offered during their German Fest. Washed it all down with delicious imported beers. Be ready for German titles as the menu reflects the authentic food you'll enjoy!
