The Black Reserve Bookstore

I just came from that most community fair and back pack give away, which I think may have been hosted by The Black Reserve Bookstore. There were three separate police departments giving away back packs, school supplies, groceries and SWAG. It's great to see the police and the community working together.

Now, the bookstore is filled with several titles by black authors, both new and old. There is also a small selection of oils, black soap, and other items.

The owner is extremely friendly and willing to help you find any title he doesn't have.

I will definitely be back not only because he ordered a book for me, but also cause why not!?!

This establishment is not only an excellent reading resource for both adults and children, but also a place for conversation and connection! Sheikh Muhammad is the proprietor, and he makes EVERY person who comes here feel welcome. Have a question? Ask him! In addition to books, there's clothes, soaps, jewerly, candles, oils... if you are ever in the Lansdale area, please do yourself a favor and stop in!
