I understand that they're really busy during lunch time but number one they only had one server. We sat there and sat there and sat there .we cleaned off the table for them. And the waitress walked by us like 6 or 8 times without even saying a word to us. This will be the last time we come there!

This place is gone downhill really fast! People have better things to do than to sit around and be ignored!

I had heard the Celtic Knot had good food for quite a while, but just recently went there for lunch. The burgers were fantastic. I got the pimento cheese burger with fries which was great. And the fried pickles were definitely worth trying. The service was excellent. A great little spot if you want a really good burger.

Let's start by stating the obvious, it's a dive bar with a great bar food. Stopped by here after flower town festival with a craving for fried mushrooms after seeing many promising reviews and pics.

We showed up for a late lunch and there was live music which wasn't bad but just a little too loud for the size of the place; the table was still dirty from whoever was there before us and the place had an overall grubbiness that you would expect from any respectable dive bar but would hope it didn't extend to the kitchen.

The service was friendly, our server and the bartender checked on us several times. The meal was excellent, wallet friendly and made up for the rough and ready atmosphere. We split the mushrooms and got smash burgers and they did not disappoint.

If you are looking for romantic or fine dining this isn't it, but if you're looking for a low key place with good grub to nurse a hang over or to start the process for one, you'd be hard pressed to do much better in the Summerville area.

The atmosphere was welcoming. We certainly enjoyed ourselves. They were very nice and it was quite busy. We played pool for hours with everyone that was there to play. Unfortunately we had supper before we arrived, the food looked great and I heard no complaints from anyone about the food. Nice place to go and unwind a bit.

A group of friends and I visited Celtic Knot for Happy Hour + Taco Tuesday. In honor of the date being 2-22-22, margaritas were $2.22 for a small, and chicken and beef tacos were only $2 each. Happy hour includes $1 off appetizer baskets as well as drink specials.

We started out with appetizers, and I'm pretty sure we ordered one of everything. The apps are typical bar food, but those onion rings hit the spot, soaking up the drinks. Tacos are offered on Tuesdays, and the fish and shrimp tacos were delicious. The tacos are small, so I recommend at least two.

Everyone in my party had at least one $2.22 margarita. The margaritas were not huge, but for that price, why stop with one? Our server was talkative, answered all of our questions, and made sure we didn't run out of those margaritas. We sat outside due to several ladies being older and worried about COVID-19 concerns, but the service was still attentive. If you do sit outside, the seating is picnic tables and they cannot be moved, so keep this in mind if you have large parties or mobility concerns.

The Celtic Knot is a solid dive bar in Summerville, and I'll be back for more drinks. The list of shots is quite extensive, and they offer frequent seasonal specials to shake things up- pun intended. Give it a try.

Hands down the best smash burger in Summerville! The fried mushrooms with horsey sauce are tasty too! Friendly neighborhood pub with great service!

I have lived in Summerville for a while and had seen Celtic Knot but had not eaten there. It is tucked away a little bit from the road and the buildings around it can kind of cower over it. But dont let that fool you, its a great place with some great food.

Over the pandemic they offered this fabulous pick up deal - 2 cheese burchy burgers, 2 sides (fries or tater tots) and a 6 pack of beer for $20 - $25. We ordered our food, went and picked it up at the given time. everyone there was great, they all wore masks, and gloves if they brought out the food, transaction was easy and we got our fantastic food.
Let me just say that everything was fresh and hot. And delicious, soooooo delicious. burchy burger is the perfect bar burger. I wish I could say in all the times I have gone I have eaten something else, but alas, the burchy burger always gets me.

I have been in a few times since pandemic restrictions have laxed, I even won some alcoholic ice cream that they make, from a FB post. If you ever get in to this place you have got to try this ice cream. SOOOOOOO GOOOD.

The inside is great for their live music events, if you want to play pool there is also a nice table in there, and a few video games. Tvs are around the bar to watch the game if you want. It is very much just the nice little bar around the corner, with some great burgers and tots, and alcoholic ice cream.

The beer selection is also top notch. Lots of good local, non local, craft and domestic drafts.

I have heard some fantastic things about their sunday brunch but I havent gone yet. But its definitely on my list of places to try soon. Will up date with that review when I finally try it!

I kept seeing Celtic Knot post all these pictures on Facebook of food and drinks. Then one Friday they posted an alcoholic orange dreamsicle drink and that sold me. I told my husband that's where we were going for dinner.
It was really good! The staff was great and the food came out hot and quickly. We we're seated right away and we're able to order drinks and enjoy those while waiting on our appetizer to start.
There is several seating options as well as some arcade games and music. They are always running specials and having new spins in the menu. They even have Irish food if that's your jam! It's right in the heart of Summerville if you can ever swing by and give it try!

Top 5 burgers I've ever had in my entire life! Absolutely delicious, we've traveled a lot and are from the north. And wow!!! Wish we could stay down here just to be closer to this pub! I've had many similar burgers but this just nailed it! Service was excellent too, and it was a very lively joint!

Well, let me tell you...we heard about this place thru a couple friends and we usually take what they say with a grain of salt...we thought about trying this place for our weekend lunch out...boy are we glad we did!! Firstly, I walk in and see 2 people sitting, eating and a guy playing a guitar and singing...he was pretty good!! I honestly wasn't sure what to do. I grabbed a menu and it all looked good so we came in...we ordered the fried pickles and they came out fast and delicious!! In my opinion, they should offer 2 sizes based on how many people are at the table...they were great but way to many for just the 2 of us...we also ordered a pitcher of mimosas! So yummy!!! We each ordered a double burger and a side..he got fries I got tater tots...both were very good...we will definitely will be back!!! Just need smaller servings...
