Great happy hour deals, an incredibly deluxe grilled cheese, and a community-focused goal. What more do you want from a spot?

This place is a hidden gem in Humboldt Park that I hope people discover because it is wonderful! Amazing food (local, all house made), great drinks and delightful staff! My husband and I are regulars and always share it with people who visit. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

Love this place! The service was awesome and love the whole idea of having a restaurant that honors teachers. Such a great atmosphere and our food was great. We'll definitely be back soon!

Great tap list! Not huge but well curated. There's also a good variety of food options, both sandwiches and larger entrees. Good size TVs for watching games, too.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Humboldt Park by far. I have gone three times and all dishes were great! You can definitely tell the chefs use fresh ingredients and nothing tastes processed. the first time was about three weeks ago and I had their truffle fries and ravioli. I ate the fries too fast and forgot to snap a pic but I remembered for the main dish. The ravioli was so lite compared to other pasta dishes with heavy cream sauces, which I really appreciated. Then, I went for $2 Taco Tuesday and tried all of their tacos and I was not disappointed. The tacos had great flavor and I left very full. My two favorites are the Al Pastor and the Chicken but I would order them all again. I then came in last weekend for brunch and had Mac & Cheese with an Egg on it. It sounds a bit weird but it was....delectable. It was so creamy and the bacon bits and egg added a nice taste to it that I had not expected. I had some of their fresh mimosas with my Mac and ended up ordering another because it was so refreshing. I asked the server about the juice and he said they use fresh squeezed oj (which explains why it was so good)! My server was great and very attentive. And lastly, the owner/chef came out to greet our table to ensure that our food was up to our expectations. Very friendly environment and staff. I will definitely be back to this cozy little bistro.

I was looking for a nice, quiet place for a business lunch and I was very pleasantly surprised to find this spot. The atmosphere was unpretentious and the service was wonderful. We really enjoyed the food and I will be back very soon to try the Prix Fixe menu. My only comment - please work on your gin menu!

Excellent food, I tried the Caprese Salad, Kale Salad, and Cheese Ravioli and they were all very good. They also had a small but well curated draft list and a nice beer and wine selection generally, as well as good cocktails and a well stocked bar. This is a great neighborhood spot, especially for a low key weeknight meal or happy hour.
