The Chickadee Coffeehouse & Deli

Food was mediocre at best and worst of all, the two people working the counter were wear tiny plastic face shields without a mask. Didn't cover their noses and are totally ineffective. A definite no-go during COVID!

Very nice and cozy place. I enjoyed my stay in the coffee. The food is very very good and the staff is super nice . Highly recommend it . The decoration is nice. On Sunday, not a lot people . It is perfect

Everything here is so good! Gluten and dairy free options. Soups are great. Had the chicken wild rice today with the harvest salad. Spouse had a grilled cheese with tomato soup. I've been here several times and like to stop here instead of Duluth on trips up north. It's also very clean, has a nice bathroom, and great coffee and other treats.

We always stop here on our way home from Duluth. Their sandwiches are delicious and fresh and their restaurant is clean and cozy. Love that you can order for pick up to grab and go too, great for kids.

Very cute and quaint place. Great soup! Really nice variety of sandwiches and salad! Super yummy coffee.... and they warm their coffee mugs....Great touch! A must stop on your way to or from the north country!

On our way to the north country, the Chickadee is our go to restaurant/coffee house. Fresh, wholesome food and great atmosphere. We enjoy dining outside, on the roomy front porch. The staff is accommodating and friendly. You can get in and out very fast or stay, relax and unwind. Call ahead if you would like to eat your food on the go!

Yummy food! Right off the highway, some gluten free bakery. Best. Latte. Ever. Healthy options that taste delicious.

Driving by today and this place looked great on Yelp. 100% right on. Nice looking place from the outside and the inside was super clean and tidy. We ordered based on the owners suggestion my wife had the the turkey bacon cranberry on ciabatta bread and hat it paninied (sp)? With a cup of vegetable soup. I had a chicken Cesar wrap. We both had hot coffee drinks. Mocha and their special chocolate cherry and then they had a chocolate cupcake with mocha frosting that we split.

Everything was top notch. The wrap was huge and I got 1/2 to go for later. Cupcake was super way to end a trip up north.

Great place

the food was just ok. My daughter ordered the pizza and was disappointed that it was a frozen pizza. I had the turkey club wrap and it only had a thin slice of turkey, mostly lettuce.

Even though the service could be faster, the Chickadee provides a warm environment and good food. The bathroom is very home-like and fancy, and they provided a comfortable place downstairs and on the main floor. They give you a good amount of fries for $2, and their lemon bars & cookies are quite tasty. My favorite is the turkey and sprouts sandwich with salted vinegar chips w/ a cake and batter frappé. If you're looking for milky and fruity smoothies, you will not find it here which is disappointing. During the fall, their apple cider is heavenly. Definitely would come to this establishment again.
