The Country House

We were toodling along on a highway and saw a sign for this store, and decided to swing by. Glad we did! Easy parking and we spent an hour perusing lots of different "sections" - beach wear, Christmas stuff, rustic styles, farmhouse styles, outdoor gardening decorations - I loved the birdfeeding section where they piped in songs of birds singing and chirping.

Prices over all seemed fair.

This place is huge - I don't think that you should allot anything less than an hour for perusing the entire store. Enjoyed it!

I have dealt with Country House on a Wholesale level for several years. I ordered last week and was overcharged on 2 items. When I called to resolve this overcharge which was in (4 days)! I was told there was a price increase! The book read one thing and they told me another on the phone when I called to ask about the overcharge! So in other words, when you order from them you cannot tell what you will be charged on your credit card, as they can change prices whenever they wish and refuse to fix it! Customer service was VERY rude and refused to adjust this $5.00 difference at the cost of losing a retail store customer! If I were to quote a price to my customers and when they come in to pick it up tell them that the price has changed within the 4 days that they ordered it, they would tell me to pack a lunch & walk out of my store and never come back! I will never do business with this company again nor will I suggest anyone else to do so either! They are NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY!

This shop is anything but little! Huge rustic/country store & huge selection! I went in hoping to find a few Christmas gifts & came out with everyone on my list checked off! Good prices & great service! Will definitely be back again!

HUGE! This is the coolest rustic wooden floor country style gift store I've ever seen. At 21,000 packed sq ft, you find endless unique decorations, signs, toys, textiles, scarves, clothes, jewelry, and other cool stuff! For every cliche beach type sign theres 10 you've never seen. It took our family about 2 hours to try and see everything.

Do yourself a favor on your next trip past Salisbury and check it out!

The Country House...this place is simply amazing. Lots of country things to choose from. If you love country this is the place to be!! I love bringing each new item back to decor my home. It just gives your home a warm, cozy, and country feel. This store is definitely worth the trip. I have been buying from them for years and I am never disappointed. From the candles, to the quilts, excellent workmanship. I love this place....
